    Company raised rent in February or so in 2023. I just received another statement of rent increase to what I am paying now. I called and they said I have been paying 12.00 a month for “insurance “.
    I knew nothing about this. They state in was in my pay statements or an email for past year. I never knew they had an invoice below the cut off line of payment received email.
    The employee I spoke to stated that I shouhabe been aware of the “insurance “ that was added in February.
    I have been a customer about 10 years. My original and only contract did not and had never stated I needed “insurance “ and I Never signed a new contract with whom ever took over business. They taken advantage of my goodwill. I assumed the rent increase was just a rent increase. I am sure they have scammed more than me. Please help me with this situation. It is bad business practice.
    I asked for proof of notification, they sent email per request. I only see “payment received “ as title of email. That makes me not look at email. When I did this week I couldn’t even find what she was talking about in the email. She said it’s at the bottom of page, I looked and nothing was there. She said at the bottom of page and there was an invoice below the huge gray line that appears to be bottom of email.
    I do believe they recorded the conversation I had with her. Please listen to their explanation.
