    Midas is not a very good company they like to rip people off I can in for a free brake check and they said I need brakes done I went to the car dealership ****** ***** and they said everything looks good they are a bad business they like to take people money stay away from them

    Mrs. **** was provided a free brake inspection. ****, assistant manager, informed Mrs. **** that no brakes are needed at this time and the only concerns noticed were rust on the rotors and grooves on the rotors. **** then proceeded to provide a quote for when the brake pads and rotors would need replacement. Two attempts were made to speak with Mrs. **** on her concerns but both times she did not answer.

    I had an appointment with **** the manager at Midas in Countryside on 4/29/23 at 8:30am to have a 3M Headlight Restoration performed. I clearly asked **** and ***** if they could keep my hood open during the treatment to protect my hood from damage. I was told that my hood had to be closed because the treatment could not get onto my engine as it would cause damage. Instead **** and ***** used painters tape on my hood and headlights during the treatment. I had been waiting for three (3) hours before I was told that my headlights were not coming as clear as they would have liked and that they were ordering more pads to be delivered to try to complete treatment. Finally, a total of four (4) hours I waited before my car had been completed and when it was released back to me, it was outside in the parking lot pouring rain. ***** and **** stated that they were not happy with how the treatment took on my "right headlight" and that it was very foggy and dull. **** told me that if I wanted to purchase a new headlight and bring it back to his shop he would install the headlight for free. I was not aware of the condition of my headlights as I grove off home in the storm. When the weather had cleared up, is when I noticed all the "Damage" that had been done to my car. The damages were my driver headlight now is white/chalking and foggy when this was my good headlight before treatment, the paint around my headlights had been taken off down to the metal along with my paint gloss being removed in various places around my hood and front bumper. **** and ***** were well aware of the damage they had done to my vehicle which is why they released it in a rain storm to cover it up. I have since taken my car to ****** Auto Collision for an estimate for repairs. I want to be reimbursed for Midas ***** ****** Auto Collision repairs and Rental car for week of repairs.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I am on my 2nd set of WRONG headlight assemblies & still waiting for bodyshop appt for paint repairs from 4/29/23 damages. My original headlights are 2015 ************** EX 4 cyl. 2.0L headlights with LED parking lights. Midas ordered 1st " after market headlight assembly" 10/2/23 for wrong model *** without LED parking lights & non functional turn signals. I was given repair letter on Midas letterhead to give to police when I get pulled over. I was unable to drive car at night because headlights were never properly positions for driving standards. I was told by Midas "no specs are given to us of where they should be until car driven at night".  I emailed ***** at Midas 10/9/23 screenshot of correct LED parking light assembly & website details to order correct parts for my make/model (carparts.com) cost $574.99 available for 10/11/23 delivery. I had to take my car to GERBER Auto Collision 10/13/23 to have headlights properly positions for driving. Midas ordered 2nd headlight assembly  10/19/23 "again" wrong headlight assembly without LED parking lights. ***** told me he would order "correct LED" assembly and my appt for bodyshop repairs are going to be THIS week 10/23 thru 10/27. I have NOT heard from ***** since I left Midas 10/19 at 9:30am. I "again" emailed ***** images of my car with "LED" parking lights and asked that he contact me before placing next order for verification.

    We have ordered multiple sets of headlamps. Unfortunately the last set that showed up damaged in the box. We are ordering another new set. We are trying to get her the correct set of headlamps and trying to get this matter finally closed.
