      I contacted **** at AKG Appliance Repair in early January, 2024 to repair an ** refrigerator. I found this company off of a ****** search for ** appliance repairs. I should have known it was going to be problems by the constant excuses made for being late for every scheduled appointment. His very first appointment he was 4 hours late. I was told I needed a part that would cost $425.00. I wrote him a check for $500.00, $75.00 of that was forlabor. A month later, after multiple texts, promises, and missed appointments **** showed up late, this time only 2 hours, wreaking of marijuana, and installed the control board. Didnt work. Then he claimed he needed another part, but tried to save me money because sometimes the control board is all you need, but ** says I need an evaporator assembly. He said its $250.00 so I wrote him a check for that. Now a month goes by, same story, blown appointments and somehow got lost trying to find my house on his third attempt at this repair. After he installed it he said give the refrigerator computer 24 hours for it to reboot/ learn the new parts. Im now seeing the scam in this 24 hour thing. He said that the first time. Gave it 48 hours, still not working. I called him back and got nothing but attitude. He said he was going to return the parts to the part store and get me a refund on the parts, it will take 2-3 weeks. Now its April, and after multiple calls and texts he finally answered a text by saying h*** be back in town on Monday and sent an email requesting updates on my refund. That was May 1st, 2024. June 5th I tried again to reach out but no luck. His phone says not accepting any calls at this time. I have not heard from him since. Im out $750.00 with a broken refrigerator the same as back in January. This company is a scam and **** is a *****.
