this company came out to check my water heater. they said the inside tank was leaking and the whole thing needed to be replaced. My home warranty company approved the claim. they would supply the new tank and all the labor charges to put the new one in. But in addition to those charges paid by my warranty company Ramirez mechanical wanted to charge me an additional $980.00 for disconnection and reconnection of the water lines and gas lines, which should be covered under the labor costs. any other new valves that may be needed shouldn't cost more then a few dollars. this company will rip you off if you use them. DON"T. stay away from this company for your own good.

The customer needs to read his policy with his home warranty company. I only went to give a diagnostic and received an approve of a water heater replacement. He needs to complaint to his warranty company on why they don't cover a complete replacement. We are providing a service and have our flat rates on what modifications we have to do and what they cost. He has old galvanize piping for water pipe and no shut off for water heater. Plus we didn't do any work for him.
