      I called this company for an appliance repair (gas dryer). The individual came out to my house, on 9/15/22 and was inside for maybe 5 minutes, played with the buttons, and came back with that it's the belt. I promptly told him that it wasn't the belt, as I opened the dryer the previous night and can attest that the belt is firmly attached to the drum. He then said something about codes and ports to plug into on the back and made a good show. Then said he will go out to his car and call ******** and proceeded to make his way upstairs. I then stopped him and asked if he needed the model number. He took a picture, and then went to his car for a few minutes and came back to tell me that it is the belt sensor. It very well maybe, but it may also be the motor, or the relay on the main board (that I got from probably the same YT video that he watched while in his car). All of this expert diagnosing without even opening the dryer housing or pulling out a multimeter to test for continuity in the wires or connections on the belt sensor, relay on the main board, or event the motor. The best part is that the technician (I use the term technician as loose as possible), most likely didn't even realize there was a camera recording him about **** feet away during his entire "diagnosing" of the problem (and I use diagnosing even looser) while at the dryer. He said he was going to call his manager to see when they could get the part and call me to have it installed. The remainder of the business day on Thursday went by with no call back, and the entire business day on Friday came and went with no call back. This company stole my $85 diagnosing fee, that they make you pay up front prior to them coming out. I would avoid them at all costs, no pun intended!

      The $85 dollar service fee is for us to come out and diagnose the machine not fix the machine. Now if you decide to have us fix the machine we subtract it from the final payment. It dose not matter if it takes the tech 5 minutes or 5 hours since A diagnosis was given to him the $85 service fee is considered final as Mentioned in the service contract that the client signed And because of the implication that the client has been making regarding Our business Character we  have decided to no longer do business with this client and closing the issue as a final decision
