I financially helped my son and two of his roommates rent this apartment while they were attending *** as college students. I personally saw the premises the way they left the unit and I have been trying to get their security deposit back for them since MAY! We have still not received it. Others state in their reviews of this complex that they too do not receive their security deposits either. The security deposit is a full month's rent and there is no reason nor paperwork provided by them explaining why this has not been returned to my son or if there are any wear and tear deductions. Can someone please look into this for us and help us get it back without me having to hire an attorney? Because that is my next step. Thank you.

I originally tried to rent an apartment for them they did not have the apartment they tried to give me a moldy mildew smelling apartment. I let them know that I will not need that because the obligation was not met. I then sent to the demand letter for my check of $3325 they agreed to that amount. However they held my check for 2 weeks it was supposed to been sent to me on November 12th the check sat at their office for 2 weeks. Once the check came to me the check was made out to the wrong name. I deposited the check. The check return from their Bank. I have asked them several times to send me my money either by check or zelle but they are avoiding me. They're acting as though I have not submitted them the check with the incorrect name and I showed them that the check was returned. No one is trying to get back to me for my $3325. To me they're trying to fraud me. I need to know if I can have some help with them giving me my money back. As this is a way to keep my money. It seems to be a game from the beginning. As it was their faults of not meeting the agreement with the apartments.

Attached are the emails between myself and the business. Myself and two friends viewed one of the business's apartments and decided to apply. The two of then gave me their share of the application fee, and I finished the application and paid the total fee of $240 on June 23 2022. On July 1 and July 8 I asked regarding the status of the application and received no response. On July 13 I asked again and asked for a possible refund and I was told they would give me an update about the application as soon as possible. I received no such update. On September 15 I asked for a refund and was told to give them 48 hrs. I received no follow up. On September 26 I asked for an update and have received no response. I am not sure of the laws regarding this sort of thing, but I believe that it is evident that the business is being quite uncool for lack of a better term.
