I have been using "Splash and Dash: services on weekly basis for my two Maltese dogs for grooming and bathing for over 2 years. During the two years of service to my gods I had multiple incidents occurred such as a cut to my dogs leg during grooming service for which my dog had to receive stitches. The worst incident of all happened on 10/17/2024 when my younger dog (5 pound Maltese) went to Splash and Dash for a haircut and the groomer cut 3 inches out of my dogs entire right ear. Splash and Dash did not notify me of this incident and they tried to hide the evidence by putting two bowls on my dogs ears which was very unusual hair style. At first I thought what a cute hair style and took the dog home. Later I noticed her right ear was cut under her long hair, it was cut in half than was glued back on by Splash and Dash. I immediately took her to the vet and the vet confirmed there was a huge cut; they tried to glue it back on. That part of the ear is dead, there is no circulation and eventually will fall out. I do have document from the doctor.I did go to Splash and Dash with the doctor's report, and they are denying that this incident ever happened and refusing to take responsibility. I filed a complaint with the local police station to report Splash and Dash for using groomers that are not licensed and untrained for grooming.

Customers Accusations vs Facts of her dogs said injury

Accusation:   During 2 years said multiple incidents occurred: Example Cut dogs leg that required stitches.
Fact: Was never notified of her dogs leg needing stitches.
Fact: That is one incident, not multiple and it is not true. We followed our protocol and notified you of the injury, took your dog to the vet, met you at the vet and paid the vet bill.
Accusation: Groomer on 10/17/24 cut 3 off the entire dogs right ear
Fact: That never happened, we have video surveillance to show no injury occurred
Accusation:  Groomer glued the ear back together
Fact:  Nothing to glue as there was no cut! Video surveillance does not show any such repair was done, nor do we have the means or knowledge of doing such
Accusation: Was never notified it happened
Fact: Nothing to notify because it never happened!  Video surveillance shows customer picking up her dog without reaction or incident.

Accusation:  Once she noticed went to the Vet immediately and claims to have the bill of medical services
Fact: She did not notify us until the next week, claimed to have the Vet report but never gave it to us. If half of the dogs ear was cut off, why did she wait a week to notify us?
Fact: Video surveillance when she came in to report this injury, clearly shows no document of Vet bill was exchanged.
Accusation:  Shop refused to take responsibility
Fact:  We viewed the video surveillance and there was no injury that occurred
Accusation:  She filed police report that the groomer is not licensed to groom
Fact: As of 10/25/24 no police report has been received
Fact:  There are no licensing requirements/credentials of training, required in the state of *********
Our video surveillances is our proof to refute her claims
