    Email from me to ************ dated 5/30/23 which explains the situation and asks for resolution: "I am writing because I believe there is a miscommunication regarding a beech tree we purchased at Wannamakers.We bought a tri-color beech that had not leafed out yet. We paid to have some local young men dig a hole and plant it. When the tree leafed out it was not a tri-color but purple! This is clearly not our mistake; the tree had been mislabeled. As instructed in the literature we got with the tree, we did not dig it out and I called Wannamakers right away to correct the situation. We were told NOT TO RETURN IT. The Wannamakers employee told us to "wait a season or two" and that it would "color up eventually." What were we supposed to do? We were told BY WANNAMAKERS NOT TO RETURN IT! We followed those instructions.So we waited last season for it to "color up." Obviously, it has not because it is not a tri color beech. So when I called ***** on Friday, I was told that I HAD WAITED TOO LONG TO RETURN IT. Wait a minute...YOU were the ones who told me NOT TO RETURN IT, remember? I must add that after I explained the situation to *****, the first thing she said was "Did that happen when I was here?" The entire tone of the conversation was not about making this right but about absolving herself and her staff of responsibility. Please find attached a scan of the labels that were attached to the tree and a photo of the tree showing that it is definitely not a tri color beech but probably a purple beech.All we want is to receive the variety of tree that we paid for and were looking forward to. Please let me know how we can arrange for that to happen."
