I have had my everdry system for a number of years. Part of our reason for purchasing was the lifetime warranty that we needed to pay for annually. I just called to see when my invoice was coming and come to find out that the Illinois office has been closed. When I call the franchise number Ohio waterproofing answers and they stated they are just an answering service. I was informed that there is nobody who will assist us with our waterproofing going forward and there is no longer a warranty. I asked who does the franchising of the company as Id assume they would be considered corporate and she said she doesnt know and theres nobody that can help me.Initial Complaint

We purchased a basement waterproofing system from EverDry Il about 10 years ago. Every year, I pay a $50 fee to keep my "lifetime warranty" valid. The system has kept our basement dry all these years until March 5, 2025. Our sump pump "blew up" and is spraying water everywhere and flooding our basement, ruined our TV and record player and some furniture. I attempted to contact them today to come repair the pump and learned they are out of business! We were never notified. When I called the neighboring state EverDry franchise, they cannot help as they are not allowed to do business in **. They gave me an 800#, which I contacted, and they told me there is nothing they can do to help. So, I am out of hundreds of dollars of paying my $50 a yr for a warranty that is no longer valid. I would like the sump pump repaired or my money back.Initial Complaint

I had a lifetime warrantee on the work at my home. It is an additional yearly cost to maintain this warranty. I have paid every year. I usually get an invoice late November for my annual warranty payment but did not receive one this year. Tried to call the business number I had on file and receive a recorded message telling me that the number I called is no longer in service. Went to the website and states that the business in temporarily closed. I can't get a hold of the company. by phone, text or e-mail. When a company closes, but you have a lifetime warranty on their service, what can be done about it? Looks at other postings and comments and seems that the larger EverDry corporation has stated that there should have been someone or another contractor that was to take over the IL Everdry commitments but seems as though this was not done. Also seems that the response from corporate Everdry is that each local operation is individually franchised and that there is no recourse available if they did not do the proper thing. So sad and irresponsible. Where do I go for help??Initial Complaint

We had issues with our basement floor sinking back in October 2017 and Everdry Waterproofing came out to repair. They sold us FAKE promises and made everything sound very convincing. They said they had been in business over 50 years and had very positive reviews. Repairs cost us over $26k; they put us in contact with a *************** named ************ and we applied for a loan which we are still paying. Everdry provided us with a lifetime warranty that is transferable as long as we pay for renewal yearly; and to date we have been paying on the dot. The basement issue has been reoccurring and I reached out to them a few times this past summer and finally they sent someone to inspect. However their technician only took some photos in less than 5 minutes and then left saying he would follow up with us regarding the inspection and the findings and NEVER DID!!! Weve tried multiple times to contact their office, left multiple voicemails and no one has called us back. Their ************* office is closed and we don't know who can we reach out to for help. When a company closes, but you have a lifetime warranty on their service, what can we do about it for them to honor it? We need Everdry Waterproofing to stand by their warranty and send someone to repair and fix the issues. Where do we go for help? I'm attaching photos of how our basement is sinking and how the baseboards/wall are detaching from the ground floor. our house is falling apart. Please help us!Initial Complaint

We purchased a basement waterproofing system from Everdry Water solutions in *************, ***. The work was done approximately 18mos ago. On Nov. 5, 2024, I attempted to contact them to request some service on my sump pump. When I called their number was out of service and their ******** page claims they are closed. As part of the purchase, we were to receive maintenance. I was able to find a customer service number however they are in a different state. I was also informed that they are independently owned and there is no assistance for current customers at this time. We were not notified of the closure and did not receive any information regarding what to do if I need service. There must be someone who oversees the independent owners to hold them accountable for their current customers.Initial Complaint

EverDry has failed to repair their work that promised a lifetime guarantee. The ************************************** office appears to be closed with no forwarding information. I want another branch in this state or neighboring state to resolve my returning leak issue. This is a franchised service company that should back their warranty by all means possible rather than leaving their customers without recourse.Initial Complaint

I engaged Everdry in 2019 to do a comprehensive basement repair, which was marketed as having a lifetime warranty. There is an annual maintenance fee that must be paid in order to maintain this warranty, and I paid this annually following the installation. When I did not receive the annual invoice in July, I began to try to contact the ************* location in August, leaving messages weekly throughout the month, with no-one acknowledging or returning my call. I need to find out who is handling the accounts of the ************* location, as well as the status of this lifetime warranty, and also engage them to do a check of my system, as I have an issue in my basement now that should be inspected and covered under this warranty. Today when I tried to call again, both posted phone numbers are out of service, so I have no recourse to reach the company directly.Initial Complaint

I received 2 sump pumps from Ever Dry Waterproofing in February 2022 (contract signed in December 2021) and had many issues with the company about finishing what the company had agreed to do. Fortunately, that part was resolved but now I received a notice from the city of ******* ****** of Buildings) that the exterior pipes for the sump pumps are a city violation. I do not know the city coding laws as I am not a professional company that installs sump pumps and did not receive any notice of violations until Sept. 2024, so how could I know that information? I have tried to contact the company multiple times via phone, but no one has called back, and their website (no replies) does not have an email to contact. The main office is now closed and I would like this job finished by the company so I do not have to pay another contractor/plumber to fix the job Ever Dry Waterproofing did not finish. I must appear in court to file an extension to resolve this, and I do not have enough funds to pay another company or plumber to complete the job required by city standards of the Department of Buildings. Please help me get Ever Dry Waterproofing to finish the job before they close their company.
