This place is a disaster... DO NOT USE them. After my car was broken into, my insurance company sent me here. They took weeks to do the door repairs, then when I went to pick up my car, as I drove off, it was making an odd noise in the engine. I took it back and the manager and made him drive with us, and he also heard the sound.
Days later, unbeknownst to me, they had taken my car to my Mazda dealer to fix it because they didn't know how. My Mazda dealer sent me a video of what they found... a two-foot piece of metal (that should have been screwed down) was clanging around in the engine. They also found a screw in my tire (the screw that should have been holding down the metal piece). Mazda fixed the metal piece, but then sent it back to Gerber.
I insisted Gerber repair the tire, which they said they would just put on insurance, but my insurance company made them pay for the tire. Honestly, each time my car went back to Gerber, something else broke. They said they used "Mazda glass" to fix the window, but it was cheap aftermarket glass that caused the window to give a hazy appearance and was unsafe to drive. So, insurance had to replace that. My car revs differently now, my passenger seat won't come out of a recline position, and all these items were not problems before their crew had my car. I think Gerber has a bunch of disgruntled workers taking it out on the patrons.
I filed a complaint with my insurance company, but not much can be done. A week later, my neighbor, who also had her car vandalized went to Gerber, and now her car door that they replaced won't lock.
They are hacks with a terrible attitude. BE VERY WARY of this establishment!!
