I bought this car off Copart, the description of the vehicle as advertised noted run and drive, and the primary damage as FRONT END. When the came to me straight from Copart, the car did not start and drive and was missing a catalytic converter! This part is more then the car and should have definitely been noted in the post as the primary damage or at least sub damage. I talked to Copart and they didnt not want to help me at all even after speaking to a manager. They sold me a fraudulent and misleading vehicle. I demand a refund in full, this is not acceptable in any way shape or form.

Copart was hired by state farm to transport my vehicle, during transport Copart damaged my vehicle. Copart damaged my vehicle in July of 2024 and still has not paid for the damages. The damages caused by copart were over $5,000 and have left my vehicle unable to be road worthy. I have been without a vehicle since July of 2024 and i have two small children. This has taken a toll on my family and my health, i cant handle this on my own any more. I am hoping you are able to help, thank you.

I bought a car from Copart in August and have not received the title. After many hours spent on the phone to try to resolve this matter, I seem to get the run around and no response from General Manager after multiple attempts to contact. With my copart account, if I fail to pay my membership fee they close my account. If I fail to pay for a car, I am then charged for a relist fee without the option to continue purchasing any additional cars. I am charged storage fees when the car is left there too long. So how can a company that has so many stipulations on its customers go without any accountability to ensuring the purchase is completed by ensuring all pertinent documentation is provided to the customers within 30 days of sale, if not immediately? And if they make a mistake correct it by providing a solution. If i have to pay for a bonded title I want copart to reimburse me those fees including the travel expenses of driving to ***********, ********. I also bought a car from ************************************ who sent me the wrong title. I sent the incorrect title back and am waiting on my correct title to be sent. However, I have just found out that ***************** has that title in their possession as well. That information creates a huge concern to me given how long it has taken to receive the first title. In most cases you sell a car you only have 30 days to provide the customer with the title, but not **********************. I have spent thousands of dollars with them and this is the customer service they provide. I would like both titles, financial compensation for days and hours spent calling and emailing. The money lost from sale due to this inconvenience and reimbursement for any fees incurred while waiting including the $20 per title that they automatically charged to mail out my title when car is purchased

Copart is to provide a transferable title to all customers within 30 days. If ********************** cannot do so, Copart will give the customer the opportunity to return the vehicle for a full refund. This is offered to all customers. I will be unable to resolve this matter without a VIN number to the vehicle or a Copart member number.

I have reviewed the business' response and am rejecting it because:

It has been 5 months on one car and months on the 2nd car. Does the full refund include the transportation I paid to get the car from Copart to me, the money I have invested in fixing the car, and the storage I have paid to store the car since there is no title? This has been holding up my money. If i failed to pay storage or late fees, Copart would close my account. How does not ********************** not hold themselves to the same standard? If that refund does not include those items then how can you say you are providing me with a full refund to return the car? The second car, I was sent the wrong title, sent title back and Copart was said to send me correct title when previous title was received. I called to confirm receipt and that is when they inform me that the actually do not have the title and that Illinois is responsible?? But i bought the car from COPART?? NOT IL?! If you can refund me for ALL EXPENSES INCURRED ON VEHICLE a resolution can be made, if not, I suppose an attorney would be next step.

    Sincerely,

    ******** *******
