    I have been trying to cancel my membership for over a year. I sent them the documents and made several email and phone requests. I moved out of state and they will not cancel it and keep charging me on top of late fees because they charge an account I do not use. I have contacted the local branch and corporate numerous times and they are trying to make me pay an outrageous amount of late fees or I can't cancel. They do not even let me cancel online and I think legally in ******** they have to.

    Memberships can be cancelled any time by visiting the location in which the membership was created, or mailing a letter to that location, or by visiting our website at ******************************. The balance or any overdue fees are not required to be paid in order to cancel. Once cancelling in accordance with the agreement, you receive immediate email confirmation for your records. However, as a courtesy, we will cancel this membership effective immediately.

    They just tried to debit my account two more times. The ***** is normal and the $15.00 is new. They deleted my account so I couldn't take screenshots showing you I was not allowed to cancel without paying my late fees. But what they said was not true. They told me numerous times I could not cancel until I paid them off and denied the letter I sent to cancel over a year ago because I still owed on the account.

    Memberships can be cancelled at any time by stopping into your home club, mailing a letter to your home club, or by visiting our website at ******************************. Balances are not required to be paid to cancel memberships. I cancelled this account on 5/22/2025. The 5/17/2025 invoice declined and was returned as a balance today 5/28/2025. I waived that balance so no further dues will process.
