      I hired servicemaster to help with a mess that was left behind by a sewage pipe burst from our village sewer. The job was completed on 8/5/2022. I was home when the job was being done, however I was upstairs working in my office which is in our 2nd floor. I reached out to the corporate number to put in a complaint as I noticed that a bin containing some decorations went missing. They said they would reach out to the home office that provided the service. I did not hear back from them in a few weeks so I reached out to the office directly on 11/4 where they told me that there was no record of the complaint. I let them know the situation and they said they would contact the job manager/supervisor and they would contact me. Later on in the day I did receive a phone call from ******************* and the phone call was everything but pleasant. I ended the call in tears. He said *That he bet his life on it that his workers would never steal. *Listen lady, I don't know where you and your husband left your bin but my guys did not take it.*That his guys have worked for him for ********************************* received a complaint.*His workers would not risk their job for my bin.*His workers have worked in million dollar homes and nothing has came up missing.I of course challenged him by asking, "because you have never received a complaint, that means they never have stolen anything?"He was really nasty with me and very accusatory when all I wanted is to do is report it and possibly find a solution but we got nowhere with the conversation. These items in the bin, held a sentimental value to me because it contained all of my Day of the Dead decorations. It is tradition that we put out these items to remember our dead. Prior to them coming out we had to clean up to avoid some additional fees. Nothing was thrown out so I know that the items were downstairs. I had only my fall decorations down there as all of my Christmas and other holidays filled my attic already.
