    On April 4, 2022 I entered into a contract with Bantam Built to construct a shed in my backyard. The total amount of the agreement was $32,149.35. I made a down payment of $24,279.48 via wire transfer. The project was scheduled to be completed in early July 2022. There were numerous delays and lack of communication from the owner, ***********************. *** also continued to ask for more money, even though the advertising of product and service said "no extra costs."In August of 2022, I was instructed to obtain a permit from the City. *** instructed us to list ourselves as the contractor for the project. The City advised us that this is very suspicious behavior. *** eventually listed himself as the contractor. The permit in our desired location was denied due to zoning issues. The permit was approved in an alternate location, but it is not our desired spot for the shed and would cost additional money. At this point, we told *** that we wanted to cancel the project and obtain a refund. *** ceased all communication with us at that point. We have not heard from him since September 1, 2022. His phone number has also been changed and reroutes to an offshore business insurance agency.I have also filed complaints with my local sheriff's department and my state attorney general's fraud department. ****** - the company listed in the contract - is a subsidiary of Bantam Built. Both are wholly owned by ***********************.

    On August 3rd 2021 a deposit of $30,470.00 was paid to Bantam Built LLC, *** (******) ********, formally Titan Tiny Homes LLC to build a residential home in *******, **. As stated in the contract construction would begin August 15th 2021. No construction has began since, the company has laid off and or not paid two key construction project managers for my home project. This massive delay and negligence has breached the contract so I asked for a refund and termination of the contract (which I am able to do as stated in the contract). Bantam Built LLC, *** (******) ******** and has not refunded my money and ceased communication. He stole my money and has not provided any paperwork showing proof of intention to build my home.
