    On November 4th, we purchased two slabs of Taj quartzite and two slabs of quartz from Kiva Stone. The slabs were delivered to ************* waiting for the installation. Due to time constraints, we switched companies and **** and ******** arranged for **** to pick up the slabs and bring them back to the warehouse for pick up by ****** Stone. During the transport, Kiva cracked one of the Taj slabs. ****** accepted the slabs, paid for the slabs the second time. Upon installation, we realized that Kiva sent us the wrong finish of soap quarts, which they corrected free of charge to us. Unfortunately, due to the crack in ***, we werent able to complete the job. Kiva promptly blamed the ****** for accepting the cracked slab and refused any further conversations.On Dec. 4th, Granitex has submitted the request to refund the stone, since the job was already paid for twice. For three weeks, the Granitex and myself were playing phone tag with Raja, the manager, who promised apologetically that he will submit the paperwork for the refund shortly. Two months later, after calling and emailing, Granitex with my permission, filed a claim with the collection bureau. After back and forth, a visit from **** representative and more promises of the refund, Kiva stone refused all our requests, including the collection agency request under the claim they have never promised a refund, but rather a credit. We paid twice for the same stone, they messed up the job, they sent broken slab, and are now refusing to return the money.
