  Took our down payment in May 2022, communicated with us for a few months- still no windows and now no contact; it's February 1, 2023.It wasn't a ton of money compared to some ($1500 - $1800), but my spouse is disabled and we live on a tight budget, we need that money to get windows elsewhere...

  Window Depot Chicago took my deposit of $2667 and delivered NOTHING! They stopped responding to us and disappeared. There over 20 people that I have found which were cheated by Window Depot Chicago, either through lost deposits or liens being put on their property because Window Depot did not pay a subcontractor.

  I am a senior citizen on a fixed date. I signed a contract with Window Depot *** July 28th, 2022. I wrote a check for a deposit of $3,600 half the cost of the total window installation. I was advised the installation would begin by end of November 2022. I received an email August 22nd 2022 from *************************** which stated installation would be late October. I have called, sent an email and text message. I have had no response from Window Depot USA. I filled a police report for theft of service, because of feel that I have been scammed.

  ******* that sold ** windows told us after we gave a deposit that this company is crooked. Gave them a $5200 deposit and when we called to ask them why ******* said that they never got back to us. Now looking at the reviews for the past 5 months, I believe it. They took our money knowing they would ************* the windows. Nobody will return our call.

  This company's, CEO and founder have defrauded me and a number of other people by breeching their contract to replace windows. They required 50% down payment, which in my case was $4975.00. We signed a contract with them in May, 2022 to replace 10 windows by October. When I contacted them in October the **** *******************, told me he would get materials from another company and perform the installation in November. At the end of October I tried contacting him to no avail. I called and wrote numerous times, only to get voice mail. Since that time, I have learned that many other people l have had the same experience with this company and have lost thousands of dollars because they failed to honor their contracts. I employed these people through referral from ****/Home Advisors, thinking that I would be safe from con men and scammers. Because of the vast fraudulence, my chances of recovery are slim.

  Warning! BUYER BEWARE. I ordered widows from Window Depot of Chicago on May 25th, 2022, I paid $2,821.00 to Window Depot of Chicago as a down payment. I was told by *************************** of Window Depot of Chicago that my windows would arrive in mid-July 2022, and would be installed soon after, its November 29th, 2022, and my windows have not been installed, and there is no indication that they will ever be installed. When I have contacted *************************** of Window Depot of Chicago, he would tell me that the problem for the delay was with Provia. I contacted ******, and the person that I spoke to over the phone stated to me that they are not behind in the in the manufacturing of their windows. Window Depot of Chicago gave me the lowest bid for the windows I ordered. I believe that Window Depot of Chicago gave me a low bid to get my down payment to run their bussiness with no intension to installing my windows, and to date have not given me a refund. No mater what response Window Depot of Chicago gives to my complaint, these are the facts. I wrote a check to Window Depot of Chicago on May 25th, 2022, for $2,821.00, and its November 28th, 2022, and my windows have still not been installed.

  I am joining a list of complaints about this company. What started out as a good relationship with this company, is now, not so good. From reviews I've recently read on various other sites, I am a lucky one...my job got done. We signed a contract with Window Depot of Chicago back in April to have our house totally resided, along with new fascia, soffits, and gutters. The total project was estimated to be a little over $33,000 and they required 1/2 down...which we wrote them a check for. An estimate was **** weeks was given until they would be ready to start the project. Fast forward...at 20 weeks out they finally started our project, which went fairly smoothly thanks to the installation company, and took 3+ weeks. At the end of the project and after we did a final inspection of the work they had done, we gave them a check for the balance of a little over $18,000. All seemed great as we loved the new look of our house...that was until November 6th when we received a certified letter letting us know that a MECHANIC'S LIEN was pending on our property due to Window Depot of Chicago NOT PAYING their supplier for our siding. Like others, we tried contacting them...emails, calls, but there has been no response. And like some others, we are being forced to hire a lawyer because of their mismanagement of their business. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY...that is if you can even find them. Specifically, in case they go to work at other companies...do not trust *******************, Co-Founder or *************************, CEO/Owner.

  Contract was signed on 09/22/2022. I gave a deposit of $8753.**** And *** have not started on my roof. One side of the roof have no shingles I have water damaged . They stopped communication after I picked out my shingle color. They displayed a professional demeanor only to lure you in. This company have no integrity .

  I ordered a new sliding glass balcony door in the middle of February 2022. My door arrived at the beginning of June and was installed in my condo on June 10, 2022. Upon installation, it was discovered that there was a large crack in one of the panels, the lock did not work at all, the door frame was scratched on the outside, and the door screen is of very poor workmanship! Basically my entire new door arrived defective. I was told on June ********************************************************************************** ****. A company called Provia. I have waited another two months for my door. I was informed today August 2, 2022 by Window Depot *** of Chicago that my reordered door parts again arrived defective from Provia and have to be reordered all over again! This is extremely bad business and I regret ever calling and using Window Depot! I do not recommend this company at all. They will give you the runaround and one excuse after another.

  Window Depot of Chicago does completely understand and also sympathize with the current situation created by our Manufacturer Provia. We are and have been working with them to resolve this matter. The unfortunate part of this is we do not personally make the products so we have little control over the final result which is usually stellar. Our communication has been ongoing, honest and upfront with our ************* of fact, it was upon our inspection of the last set of glass panels delivered to our warehouse that we found defects that are not up to our standards. At no time have we given anyone the run around or or made excuses. Even though we have received multiple emails with ultimatums, threats and fowl language from our client we will continue to work with our manufacturer and satisfy our agreement with our client as promised. Thank you.
