5 starsDamage to finished basement due to burst water line. *** came out to evaluate the same day our repair plumber reached out to them. Mitigation completed in less than five days. 5 starsWe had the unfortunate experience of a cracked pipe in our crawl space. The plumber would not work on it until the waste had been removed. The plumber provided us the contact info for CWF Restoration. They came out same day. ***** L provided us the price and some helpful info regarding coverage from our ins company in case of any future plumbing issues. Although the first team they sent was not properly equipped, they stayed to make sure the team arriving the following morning would be ready to go. Due to the circumstances in our crawl space, it took a few days and several teams to resolve the issue. We had the pleasure of meeting, ******* ***** ****** ***** ******** (twice) and *******. All teams worked efficiently and professionally. They explained a bit about the cleaning/disinfectant products and were very polite. *** provided prompt service following the discovery and repair of a leaking pipe in my store room on a Sunday. Their representative did a thorough assessment of the damage and provided me with recommendations. 1 starI had an accidental water damage on 9/15/24. I have insurance with a $5,000 deductible. CWF Restoration was contacted to perform the mitigation and the restoration to fix damage. Most of the damage occurred in the ceiling above the laundry room and in the common wall between laundry room and walk-in closet. I reported the claim to my insurance which approved a $5,000 payout under one claim with one claim number. CWF insists that I owe $5,000 for the mitigation (drying out the wall) and another $5,000 for the restoration. CWF states that there were two separate services performed and therefore are charging me for two deductibles ($5,000 for the mitigation and $5,000 for the reconstruction). All business cards left with me for both projects included CWF Restoration with the manager's name and number on the cards. I have paid CWF $4,847.37 and have cancelled checks to prove the CWF have cashed them and that they have verified that they have been paid. That leaves an owed balance of $187.79, which I have agreed to pay. The insurance had requested that I not pay anything else until they received the documents they have requested. The purpose of the request was to get supporting CWF documentation that the charges were reasonable and necessary for the work performed. CWF has refused to send the insurance any supporting data because CWF has submitted their charges thru their program which states the charges are reasonable and necessary. At this point the insurance reports that they can do nothing else to help me and CWF insist that I owe for two $5,000 deductibles. Again, the damage was reported under one claim, the payment made was made out to CWF and they claim my deductible continues to be $10,000. In addition, they had a credit card on file and proceeded to bill my credit card for the balance owed prior to my approval. I froze my credit card until this can be resolved. I strongly believe that this is an unfair practice and deceitful to the client.Review fromKim Z

*** did an excellent job handing the mitigation of my moms house when a pipe burst in her bathroom. They handled this situation with empathy and expediency. I used CWF after my plumber recommended them to clean my house after a pipe broke in bathroom inside of a wall. Everyone from ***** who came out to provide the estimate to ***************** my awesome service techs who made everything spotless and removed all the debris inside the walls that had been damaged.
