    From July 31, through Aug 9. The Apt complex, where I live. They hired, the 2 Men and a Truck. At *************************************. To move me, out of my Apt. So that, it could be renovated. The Apt that I was, moved into. They had stacked, the boxes high. When I was moved, back into my Apt. I found that my, Elitalia Pizza Oven; was broken. They cost, $175 dollars. They thought, that they could pay. What they, want to pay. They sent a check, for only $60 dollars. They broke, my Pizza Oven. It is, unfix-able. I feel that, they stacked the boxes high. That due to, there carelessness That they should fully replace My Elitalia Pizza Oven.Sincerely,****** ******

    Two Men And A Truck is aware of the damage claim that was filed and has provided a compensation for claimed item per the valuation selected for services. We are sorry that the customer did not have a great experience with the service but the claim has been resolved per the State of Illinois regulations.

    My wife and I hired these movers to move from our apartment at **** ************ to **** ************** (our new residence) on 8/31/2022. The movers milked the clock and took 9 hours to move the items out of the apartment and into the new home's garage. They were making trips downstairs with one box at a time. A separate moving company completed the job a few days later from the garage into the home in under 1/3 of the amount of time. Additionally, and most important, the movers damaged two very expensive items of furniture as shown in the pictures provided. One item is a $1,800 restoration hardware rocking chair and the other is a portion of a $4,000 pottery barn couch. This complaint has been filed with the company and they are not accepting responsibility as the pictures do not clearly show the damaged items 'in the garage'. Common sense will tell you that we obviously could not see these items until they were removed from the garage to go into the new home. Shoving all of the furniture and boxes into the garage will obviously hinder our ability to see if the items were damaged before the movers left the job. This was one of the worst moving experiences we have ever had with any company. We are looking to receive a refund of $2,080.00 for the move and a replacement of the furniture. The move was paid in full on 8/31/2022 by credit card.

    Unfortunately this is not a customer of this local ********************** franchise. After reviewing all claims and services that were performed on 8/31/22 this customer Mr and ********************* were not on our franchise schedule. I believe they meant to leave this complaint in regard to the franchise of Two Men And A Truck in *******. We are all independently owned and operated. If they were like to further communicate with a higher power they can contact our corporate office at **************

    I reviewed both pictures provided and they are just pictures of a damaged couch. If you look at the Bill of Lading that was provided to you on the day of service it should have the proper location in the upper left of the document. Again, this is not the correct franchise and I cannot assist you with opening another claim for a different location. If you need assistance you can call out corporate center at **************

    I contracted Two Men and a Truck to move a specific list of my furniture from ********************************************************** to ***************************************************************************. They were provided a very specific list of items to move that included a baby grand piano. They assured me prior to entering into the contract that they had the expertise to move the piano. If they had said expertise the movers should have known that one must remove the piano legs first before attempting to move a baby grand piano. They had to be instructed to do so by my husband who helped them do that and then told us they could not move it. It is still sitting in my house at ************************************************************** and was to be removed yesterday per the sales closing contract we entered into with the buyer of the company. In addition, the maximum amount per the contract was $2695 and I was billed $1800 additional for the move which I did not authorize. They also moved things into my new residence without ensuring everything was set up, a bedroom dresser, a china hutch, a dining table and many other items. I refuse for a contractual obligation that was not fulfilled and will file disputes with my credit card company for the charges
