    my move was scheduled on 2/23/2025 9 am i paid cash because ***** gives 5% back to you if you pay cash for 4 yrs it was supposed to be some were about ****** but i was charged two hours extra also damaged coffee table worth ****** pluse two crystal plates from my mom and dad rememberances they past away ***** a piece pluse a side table red glass ****** and side glass to chine side cabinet around ***** to replace ***** ignores my call and sent me a email that he sent a check i never recived it and he gave me a story they do not cover storage stuff but he know that my stuff was coming out of storage im very upset the move costed me 1****** with paying him cash and all damages Please help

    Good morning,

    We provide every customer an estimate of charge prior to their move. Final charges are assessed on actual time the move takes to complete as per Illinois state law.

    We do not cover public storage liability as stated in our estimates of charge. Despite this policy, in an act of good will, we mailed the customer 2 checks, neither of which she claims to have received.

    We spoke to the customer on the phone many times and exchanged many emails to try to resolve her claim.
    I have attached documents to back this up. She refuses to acknowledge the terms of the contract. Please also find attached our estimate of charge for the customer with our policy concerning no liability on moves out of public storage highlighted and no liability for items not packed by the mover. Please note the acceptance of these terms by the customer.
