      I decided to buy a controller for my talaria because green line claimed it was in stock. I received the controller and quickly realized its literally incompatible with my talaria. I explained this to the vendor. They said I must have an odd version of the product and they may have a different version available. I told them that Im not interested in exchanges and I ordered the product from them because it was going to ship quickly. I was not interested in getting another product because allegedly they sent me the wrong one. They said no problem and that theyre going to provide a refund. They issued a return label and a confirmation of the full refund amount to be sent upon receipt. I thought that there was a reasonable resolution however, they refunded me a considerably smaller amount 25% less and then point to their refund policy that clearly goes contrary to the refund amount.

      The customer did not know how to follow the instructions that came with the kit. He refused to send it back. We provided a refund after receiving the return.

      I am rejecting this response because:

       

      The customer did not know how to follow the instructions that came with the kit. ( The kit that was sent was PHYSICALLY INCOMPATIBLE with my device, despite the fact that the websites advertised universal plug and play compatibility). There was no way to install the kit, it has nothing to do with following instructions. 

      I didn't refuse to send it back! I sent it back right away and asked for a refund. The vendor confirmed via email that they will provide full refund. When they received the unit, they said they are taking a restocking fee of 25%. They didn't advise me of this at the time of the return. I should not be paying anything because they sent the wrong product. Why would I refuse to send back a product that is wrong and that I can't possibly use. 

      The summary is. I was sent the wrong product. The business said I can return and confirmed the full refund and label. Upon receipt back of the wrong product, they decided to take a 25% restocking fee

      The customer sent very verbally abusive comments (swearing and insults), language unsuitable for further response. Once a customer resorts to swearing and verbal abuse with our staff, we do not engage further.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I have no idea what the vendor is talking about , however, their commentary is rather irrelevant. Let me once again be clear in the sequence of events

      1) I bought a product that was supposed to be plug and play for my specific model. 
      2) The vendor confirmed that what was sent to me was not compatible with the product despite their advertising and said that they may have a different version.
      3) I said that I was not interested in a different version and want to return for a refund.
      4) The vendor said, no problem, send me a return label, with confirmation that they will return the full amount (in the email I already sent) 
      5) The vendor received the return and took a 25% restocking fee. 

      I'm suggesting this is fraudulent activity. You cannot send someone an incorrect item, and then take a restocking fee because they actually screwed it. It's that simple and I need a rightly deserved refund for the full amount.
      I have no idea what the vendor deems rude and inappropriate language, that's frankly for them to decide and has no bearing on them defrauding me.
