I was involved in an accident in my 2020 aviator and took it to this shop to be repaired. They broke my pillars on the driver side, my grill was broken and never repaired, they left paint from overspray, charged me ****** for my driver mirror and didnt do a good job on paining it ( marks on side mirror), they decided to buy a use one and charged me for a brand new price. Ive had to go back up to this business numerous times for things that should have been repaired from the beginning. No the secretary is claiming they didnt break the pillar and as you can see in the picture it was not broken during the accident. This business kept my truck with misleading information because their body guy was out of town for two weeks so my car sat. Then she tried to lie and say I said I would pay for them cracking it. They never painted my bumper and left the marks from the accident on it. This is janky auto body business and I shouldnt have to be harassed over things they didnt do.

    Business Response

    Date: 07/02/2025

I am writing in response to the complaint filed by ******* ******.  Mr ****** picked up his vehicle on 5/15/25.  He called then texted my phone later that day with some issues he was having with his vehicle.  He came by the next morning and went over the vehicle with the technician and his concerns were taken care of.  He had left before I had a chance to talk to him so I sent him a text to make sure everything was good and he responded "Yes Maam. He's a great man".  Later that afternoon I received a text saying he noticed a crack on the upper panel and texted "I'll pay the difference. Of the door" then sent a picture and said he thought it was part of the estimate but it was not.  Didn't hear back from him until June 9th when I received another text saying we cracked the panel as well as having a number of other complaints.  The technician did not damage the applique.   He came by that morning and the technician went over the vehicle with him and then I did as well.  I told him we would take care of the following concerns such as a spot on the left front fender, the issue with the paint on the mirror and the over spray on his vehicle.  Painting of the rear bumper was not part of our original estimate, we were to try to make the bumper better by buffing and polishing, not painting, and he was not charged for that labor.  The rear bumper did have to be removed and reinstalled for the painting of the quarter panel but that is it, not painted.  A used mirror was figured on the estimate and the customer was only charged our price plus mark up which is standard and upon further review, he wasn't even charged the full mark ********* I have apologized several times for the vehicle taking longer than we had hoped but his statement about our technician being our for 2 weeks during his repair is inaccurate, he was out 1 week and we were waiting on parts during that time. The cracked grille was never mentioned during the original estimate or at any time during the repair.  We found out when he returned on June 9th that he did have an insurance estimate that he had been paid off of and therefore any additional damage would have to go through the insurance company and would no involve us.
