      I am a single parent trying to involve my special need kids in activities because i am unable to afford day camp/summer camp. I have attached my receipt of paying for arts and craft program. My kids and myself went out of town for my special need birthday. I got sick and was not sure if the kids was carrying any virus so i kept them away from the other kids. i called and spoke with ***** and i was told that i could not get a refund nor could they credit my purchase to another program. I did not want a refund, what i wanted was for my special need children to attend a program. I do believe its racial profile disregarding the reason i kept them out. I feel its awful that they would just take people money and not try and rectify the situation. I am heart broken and can not afford to pay again. These are disabled children and Homewood Flossmoor Park District needs to be held accountable for this act. They have African American kids on their website which would make you think its not racial but what other excuse would you have that you would not accommodate special need black children. I have my doctor ********* and they would not accommodate my children. they just took my money regardless of my situation. I feel this needs to be looked into immediately.
