    On 01/25 I took my black suitcoat. suit pants dress shirt and tie into Best Cleaners of Fox Lake, which I paid for it in advanced, and on 01/30, I picked it all up, and packed it for a cruise out of the country. On 02/04, I attempted to get dressed, noted the jacket was totally different than the suit I owned, brought on 12/17/2022 for ***. A Bank, of Kildeer, **. I presented evidence to the owner, that the suit jacket didn't match (or for that matter fit my arms) the suit slacks. The owner indicated he doesn't like to do business that and wanted to ensure the correct jacket gets returned. Well this morning on 02/11, the owner **** *******, indicated he had video of me dropping the suit off, but it doesn't show the coat, as I pointed out to him this totally didn't match of fit the suit I brought. He also indicated that I needed to show him a receipt from ***. A Bank, indicating the purchase, and well I contacted the store, and they presented one to m, which I forwarded to ****. I called him, thinking they will honor that, and at least replace the jacket. He indicated he is going on what the video shows. Well it didn't show me bringing in a navy blue jacket, but totally going to cost me a new suit, they even won't refund the $209, which is the original cost of the jacket, not even the amount I paid of the dry cleaning.

    Dear BBB,

    As a follow-up to the original message outline the evidence for this claim, I am openly sharing the communication between Mr ***** and our business where we outlined everything and provided overwhelming evidence and professional communication.

    I want to also iterate, that the customer continued to state different colors for his missing jacket, he insisted on different prices for the jacket throughout this engagement, and threatened to slander our business (which he did in local ******** groups) despite video and photo evidence that our business did nothing wrong.

    We found no evidence that the jacket the customer claimed as not his was not the same as the one he brought to us to clean.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I have decided to let it go - I didn't like the fact I presented it in good faith, and it wasn't my intention to try and take advantage of the situation, just wanted my suit returned, as I mentioned several times to Best Cleaners, the suit jacket didn't match the slacks, and overall, I spent close to the $600, but its been so frustrating, I just am taking my business elsewhere
