January 10 2024 Climate Control System installed the complete boiler system and the system worked well in supplying heat; but the thermostats were continuously calling for heat. We were assured by CCS that a different control panel was needed. We paid $9145 1/10/24, CCS install the new control panel 1/22 It did not work properly. Controlling our heat at our home resulted in 6 weeks where it was a daily chore to shut down the entire boiler system because Temps were too high This ritual became tiresome! Placed CCS payment on hold. 2/23/24CCS came to do more adjustments. Still had issues. zones were mismatch but the temps stay within the programed range. Found out gas usage was up because of the runaway temps due to boiler issues In closing; I am asking the BBB to help me settle the final issues with Climate Control System. I am asking for the completion of my boiler install by correcting their mistake in wiring the middle and lower zones. I am also asking for a 1-year warranty starting from February 23, 2024- February 23 2025 for the control panel and the 3 Zone valve/heads. My reasoning for the warranty is based on the fact that when the boiler issue was resolved; we had unusual higher temperatures in ********* **; so, the demand for heat was less; therefore, the control panel and the 3 zone valves were engaged less. The original issues with the boilers control panel and the respected zone valves occurred when the outside temperatures were considerably lower and which meant that the control panel and the 3 zone valves were engaged more often and possibly simultaneous Had Climate Control *** installed my boiler system correctly the first time on January 10, 2024, it would be unreasonable to ask for this type of warranty; but given the circumstances; I am apprehensive as to whether this $9100+ boiler would be trouble-free when the weather drops in single digits next year. Its been 10+ weeks and the job has not been completed. I am owed the warrantee!!

Mr. *********************** has a one year warranty on the labor and the parts pertaining to the boiler installation and his **** zone panel has a replacement warranty on it until February 25th, 2025. I have offered to have our technicians out to fix the wiring issues that he is referring to. We checked them and they were wired properly. We have had the manufacturers representatives out to check the wiring issues. We have been out to his home several times for thermostats he said were not working but when we arrived they were. We replaced the zone panel due to temperature fluctuations and recommendations form the manufacturer that if we were having issues with the w**** ******* zone panel to replace it with the **** zone panel.   We were at his home the following dates to check his thermostats, which he originally wanted to replace, but he refused to tell us what thermostats he would rather have. 1-23-2024, 1-26-2024, 1-29-2024, 1-31-2024 and 2-22-2024. On the final visit it February he was verbally abusive to ************** and the manufacturer's representative. Even after this, we  offered to have my technician out to the look at the wiring again if he could allow us access due to some boxes in the basement. He responded to my email with "TOO LATE". And yes his warranty is still valid.

I am rejecting this response because: I received the response on your web site and I am totally in disagreement with the shoddy work done by Climate Control System. The following attachment will explain the fact that Climate control system did not properly installed my boiler system. more attachments to follow.

Mr. **********;originally asked us to upsize his boiler to a larger size, which we did per his request.  I am a bit confused about what ************** wants. First he wanted an oversized boiler, even though we advised against it.  Then he was certain the thermostats were not working, we offered to come out and change over the thermostats to whichever thermostats he wanted within reason. He never let us know which thermostats he wanted, even though when set at 70 degrees there were no issues. Now he wants new zone valves put in. I have offered to have our people out and he is not pleasant to them. And if he has stopped payment to our company as he has stated, are we obligated to continue to try to correct the issue. We tried to reach out to ************** several times, in those days he mentions we did not communicate. We would call him from the number he called us from and then he would not answer our return calls or the voice mails we left. He would call us days later telling us we never called him back , when in fact he did not check his messages and openly admitted to not checking his message. I have recordings from ******* of the calls and will provide them if need be. If he wants the valves changed out we will do that.

I am rejecting this response because:

I sent several pages about the unfinished boiler installation by Climate Control System. This e- mail was sent on April 15, 2024. I need some action because this company is giving me the run around and lying about the fact that they resolved the issues. I paid $9141 for a boiler system that is only 4 months odl and has not operate properly since day one. I recently have contacted another company and was told that it would cost over $1500 to fix. I need some type of action please!!
my gas bill is higher I cannot be a responsible for keeping my heating cost down because the unit has ot been propery installed. An estimate from another company to correct the sloppy boiler system by Climate Control would run me better than $1500-----a lot of money to pay to correct Climate Control's incompedence!!

      Sincerely,

************** wants new valves. As stated in my last response, we can install new taco valves for him, but he rejected that. I don't understand what he wants, We have agreed to everything he as asked and he has rejected our responses and reconciliations. Which he has stated he would accept then changes his mind. He claims that we are giving him the run around. We have had no contact with him since March 18th, when he told us that our offer of reconciliation came "too late" in his words. I am unsure of what the next steps should be. This is the first complaint we have had with the BBB in over 30 years. I have answered every inquiry and agreed to replace his valves and he still rejects the response.

      Complaint: 21459743

I am rejecting this response because:

Climate Control System from January 10, 2024 to the present day has yet fulfilled
the contract I signed on January 7, 2024 for $9144. I was told by CCS that a new boiler
along new thermostats, new valves, new control panel was necessary for a smooth
operation of my new boiler system. Instead, I have a white elephant that has not even
match up to the ability of my old boiler pre-January 3, 2024. Whenever I had a complaint
about my new boiler system not operating as promise by CCS; there were always excuses
by CCS and no results. I contacted CCS on March 10, 2024; and they never contacted until
March 18, 2024. I am sorry, but after 10 weeks of having paid for a new boiler system and
all new parts I had to start documenting this incident with CCS for my own protection. If
CCS is willing to install the more reliable Taco 571 valves I have no problem with it. More
than likely CCS when installing the new valves can properly wire the thermostats to the
appropriate zones (right now zone 2 valve is wired to the zone 3 thermostat and vice versa).
All I am asking is for a professional installation of my boiler system so that I have the same
control of my new boiler system as I did with my old boiler system pre January2 2024. I do not want to
experience the same issues with my new boiler system for winter January/February/
March 2025 as I have endured this past January/February/ March 2024. In other words CCS should

stop making excuses and do the install as if you are doing the install at their own home.

      Sincerely,

      ***********************

************** stated in his rejection that if we install new TACO valves for him and check the wiring for both zones 2 and 3 and their thermostats it would be acceptable. Yet he rejected the resolution, when I have stated we would recheck the wiring and replace the zone valves. Why the rejection if this is acceptable?

I am rejecting this response because:   I am presently in the hospital and cannot get to my computer to send you  PDF files  where CCS rejected the idea of replacing the problematic zone valves and correcting CCS mistake of the wiring of mixing up the wiring for the two zone valves. This is nothing more than a delay tactics and denial by CCS of not following through with their contract with us assuring us of a properly Installed boiler system which we paid over $9100. The only acceptable option is having a written contract a during me that the valves be replaced and the wiring be correct. I might add that there were 4 valves on our system with one valve that was to be connected to the basement. The basement zone was just connected to the return copper rubbing and the copper tubing of about 6 inches past the 4 th zone I was going to reconnect the basement plumbing at a future date I need this reassuring response
