      We are a condo association, which had the roofer (K.Kilker Construction) put on a new roof. The shingles have a warranty, however, one of the upper units, now has 2 leaks. We have tried contacting the business with at least 6 phone calls within the last 3 weeks and have not had a returned call.

      This roof project was completed like 8 years ago and if they have a leak and they have called I am currently shut down for the winter until the beginning of March I am not even in the country and most roofers close their business for those months so they have to get a hold of somebody else or wait till I get back in March and I can take care of the issue but there's normal maintenance on a building and sometimes things do arise but it cannot be the roofers issue 8 years later it would be a charged call to address their situation so they can get a hold of anybody else they want to and take care of this as the Better Business Bureau knows you have got to stand behind your workmanship and your work for one year and I always do that even way above that but 8 years later sometimes there are issues that arise because of weather conditions that they have got to maintain please advise them of this and if they want to wait for me till March to fix it I would take care of it but I cannot do anything at this time because I'm not even in the country thank you

      I am rejecting this response because:

      The warranty on the shingles is 30 years.  Why did you use this as a selling point, if we cannot get any service?

      I understand you are out of the country, however, I'm still seeing your construction signs around town.  What happens if someone has a leak in the middle of winter??  What is the process? Who do they call??

      The 30-year warranty is a warranty from the shingle company that manufactures the shingles not their workmanship warranty the workmanship warranty is one year stated by the state of ******** and there are signs around town because people choose to leave them up because they are very happy with the work that we have performed for them I can't tell them to take the signs down that's up to them but I'm very happy that they leave them up if somebody has a problem in the winter they have to call somebody else I am not available during these next two months

      You are the contractor which has the contact for the shingles, we paid you. I don't think it is up to another contractor to fix what you didn't do right.

      However, I have found a contractor that responded quickly and is willing to fix the mistakes you made when putting on the roof.

      Iput$6000 dollars down up front on a estimate of $12,960. as the work was being done on the roof my wife called me at my land and said they were ripping off the roof on my two year old addition. i told her to tell them to stop. i immediately came home.the roofers stopped until ***** kilker showed up and i asked him what the heck they were tearing a new roof off for. his comment was its not going to line up very good with the new roof. he said the time it will take his roofers to make it work will cost as much as it will to replace it new. which by the way is $4000 ******* wife and i argued with him and he didnt budge. we needed our roof finished since it was ripped off now. they continued on and finished the roof. he took the old covering off my old chimney pipe and told me i had to find the replacement cap and ring to seal it. i can not find one because that chimney pipe size is no longer used. i believe he checked that out with his supplier and was told that thats why he put it on me. first off , it should be his job to finish it not mine. *** called him its been over a month and hes ignoring my calls. this man is a lousy roofing contractor for leaving me unfinished.he also ripped off a new roof without talking to me first . a two year old roof are you kidding me. i want my roof finished. i want my 4000 dollars back.i want him disbanded as a roofing contractor. check his complaints. not good.i guess he figured we were old we wouldnt know any better. also his roofers which are very good told me they could of matched the roofs easily

      My name is ***** kilker I own kilker Construction Mr ***** is right I did a job for him and somebody redid the back porch two years ago and when we tried to make those shingles work for us they did not line up with our roof at all because it was done incorrectly so I proceeded to give them a price to redo that also and we had numerous numerous damage on this rough and I did exceptional work and as far as the chimney he is the one that asked it to be removed and I kindly did that but I was not the one who had to find the pipe to fit it for the replacement that was up to them I told that to them in the beginning I would remove the chimney ***** they would have to find somebody to flash it and put the cap on top I did exactly what I said I did in my contract maybe you should ask them for a copy of that but I feel I didn't know wrong here and we did considerable amount of repair and made this house look fantastic and I'm not sure where the problem is here. When we finish the project there was no signs of any problem I'm not sure where this issue arose except that they can't find the pipe and how can I be responsible for that.. thank you

      Had this company put a new roof on my house last summer, roof is now leaking and staining ceiling. Notified contractor, he stated it was a hard rain and to just keep an eye on it. I told him I wanted it fixed right and now wont return any calls.

      My home was damaged by hail two years ago. The roofing was replaced with no problems during the first year. ********************************* came to my home last spring and asked for a down payment check of $4888 for the purchase of materials to replace the siding on my home. He later informed me that he had given my check to his son. He and his son had a "falling out" and his son had gone to *****. I did not authorize that. He has not returned my check and nobody has come back to put new siding on my home.

      The contract was with Kilker Construction out of ***** ***** not K. Kilker Construction a ********* ********. Please make this homeowner show you copies of the contract. That was my son's company and I did pick up the check and I did give it to my son and he is the one that the contract was with not me so they need to be contacting him not me. Please ask the homework to produce the contract to you. I had to give him the money. It was his contract, what they did with it and if they didn't finish the job they need to be contacting them. Not me. I did not hold a contract with them
