    Date of service: July 31, ************************* hiring this company at the last minute to move our 2 bedroom apartment in *******. We asked for 3 people, they quoted us, and until they arrived everything was smooth...2 people arrived 1 hr past our scheduled appointment, and then one of them sat in the car on his cell phone for another hour. The 3rd person arrived 2 hours later and they finally started to move our stuff. Painfully slowly, but at least there was progress...After 4 more hours, the truck was packed up, and our 3 boys decided to go home because they were tired... After hectic phone calls with their "HQ", and a sleek person named ********, whoever he is, we managed to get them and our stuff to our new apartment. Then ******** called me and said that if I didn't pay for the charges in full, our boys would drive off with the truck. Then he sent me an invoice that was at least double the actual time/equipment/material charge. ******** charged us for the time his crew DIDN'T work. Even more, he charges us for more hours than they actually spend on the job. He overcharged us with the packing materials they used to pack some of our stuff, and threatened that if we don't settle the invoice immediately, they will not unload the truck. I believe this action qualifies for the term: EXCTORSION. I tried to reason with this guy to no avail... To conclude: it seems like a nice set-up to defraud anyone who uses this company for a last minute move (without an estimate beforehand, etc.).

    We hope all is well and that you are settling in nicely! 


    We do recognize the late arrival, this was due to traffic which is out of control of the company. Yet, we would never start your hourly rate until Ellisty team members have arrived on site. Ellisty also is more than happy to refund the amount that you feel the employee was siting on his phone. In regards to our 3rd employee arriving late; we are also happy to refund the time difference for the time he was not on site. His late arrival was due to the prior employee contracting Covid-19. We do take full responsibility for any of our employees handling any type of work inefficiently. As for Ellistys materials and supplies charged, they are additional charges which can be viewed upon while reading our terms and condition policy, but we are also willing to refund any labor associate with those charges. We are unhappy to hear that ******** came off as Sleek. ******** runs our Daily Operations and he has been more than helpful with all of our clients and is great to have in the office as a support system for our business. Everyday ******** comes into the office looking to make our employees and clients as satisfied as possible. 


    Lastly, its been recorded that ******** and our claims team has reached our and exchanged emails with you regarding the refunds that Ellisty can offer you. Please let us know if theres anything else we can do at this time as we continue to try and resolve this misunderstanding! Again, we are more than happy to refund any reasonable charge that you might want to be refunded. Thank you!
