    Had service done on 5-31-24, an alignment, brake fluid replaced and was told we needed a new air cabin filter so we changed it. My vehicle isnt even equipped for one. I own a 2004 f-150. When I found this out by **** I went back to them and called them out on their dishonesty and they supposedly issued a refund on 6-7-24 which I still havent received. I called corporate on 6-19-24 still waiting for them to return my call. Went back to Meineke to question the time for a refund and **** said he has know idea. I want my $77.49 back. The total bill was $238.91. My car doesnt have an air cabin filter spot its to old. They are dishonest and I dont know how many people they have done this to.

    I took my car in on 05/08/2023 for a basic tune up and they charged me $800.00 and the check engine light came on immediately after I left the shop. I took my car to Auto Zone and they informed me that there was something wrong with my transmission. I contacted the business and they informed me to bring my car back and they will get it covered. I took my car back and my car has been sitting there since May 10/10/2023. They told me for weeks they could not find a part needed for my car. I called a dealership and they informed me that they had the part in stock and they have not received any calls from Meineke. I called Meineke and gave the parts number and then their story changed and they stated that the District Manager would call me. The District Manager took two weeks to contact me. The District Manager did get contact with me and he stated that I came in with this problem and I only came in for a basic tune up. I informed them that I never had this problem before I came to the shop because I had my car scanned twice before I arrived there for the tune up. When I called back about contact information they hung up on me. I contacted another shop to have it towed from Meineke to another shop to see if Meineke did something to my transmission and will not take accountability for it. I would like reimbursement to have their mistake fixed and it is going to be very costly.

    Took **** fiesta on April 12th. For a fuel pump replacement. Before taking my vehicle car drove fine. After we were told by ***** that you now have to pound on the dash to start. We paid them ***** via debit card. Told me that they would refund my price due to inconvenience. And no payment. Was told last Tuesday that would take 2 to 3 days for refund and nothing. Called today Monday may 8th and was told they weren't going to help me anymore and for me to call their corporate location.

    On February 9, 2023 we took our 2016 Buick encore to Meineke for check engine light. We were told that it needed a new catalytic converter. We paid $1700 for repairs and vehicle was not repaired. Light illuminated as soon as driving home. Returned to shop immediately and was told it was fine and that they didnt connect something. ***** was off when leaving but came on again. Called and not offered any help besides you need another converter. This was without actually seeing vehicle again. Told this happens all the time. Our car only has40,000 miles and that seemed not likely. On March 6, 2023 we had an appointment at **************** to get a second opinion. After inspecting our car they noted that the work from meineke was subpar, that parts of our emission system were falling off vehicle. Instructed us to return to Meineke for them to rectify their work. Vehicle was returned to Meineke on March 9, 2023 and the vehicle was worked on (fixing previous faulty repairs) This did not fix engine light and they still say there are at least $1700 worth of work needed. We have been lied to, we have never received our manufacturer warranty card for the converter we paid for, they Ill not give us information to get in touch with anyone above the shop manager. We want restitution for the work they have it been able to successfully complete. We want the warranty information owed to us. They manner in which they have handled this matter has been terrible and unprofessional. Today a specialized tech was supposed to look at our vehicle but they never did. They werent even there. Our car never saw a garage. It was left on the lot. The same employee simply made an invoice stating we need another catalytic converter. We simply want our money returned since they cannot diagnose the problem nor fix it.
