    They are not honest with their customers. They do not understand how to look up insurance policies. And refuse to correct their mistakes. I have a special lens after double orbital decompression surgery. I need glasses to function properly. They said my insurance doesnt cover vision and I panicked! I had to order the lenses to find out if I needed an adjustment as I only have an 30 day window to change them if needed as per the optometrist at *******************. So I agreed to put ****** down and was told the glasses would be around $******. They asked me to put at least half down to get my prescription started and said I would be able to pay the remaining $1***** when they are ready. I called my insurance company and subsequently discovered I do in fact have coverage and called them to let them know. They said the office manager was not in and I would have to call back the next day. So I called at 10:00am and they said she just walked in the door and can she call me right back? I said sure and waited to hear back from her. She never called. So I called again today and was able to speak with the owner **** *. She basically said I signed their paperwork saying I will pay for the glasses out of pocket and my remaining balance was ******. I informed her that at the time of my visit they told me it would be around ****** and she said no no I am wrong and that I owe ******. I asked her to submit a claim to my insurance and she said no. Said I have to pay for the glasses in full and submit the receipt to my insurance. This is the worst because I need the glasses and cannot see correctly without them. I will not be able to pick up my glasses until I save the additional *****. Which will be at least a month from now. She (**** *.) wouldnt listen to me and actually hung up the phone on me when I told her I would report her to the bbb. Now I am so upset I want the frames that I provided so I can take my business elsewhere which she refused to do.

    Its really a shame that Mrs. ***** placed an order for a pair of eyeglasses and paid $200 down to order them, but when the balance came due called my company back with Insurance she wanted billed that was not presented or mentioned on the date of service when she placed the order for glasses. She presented her medical insurance, which does not cover glasses and informed no one in my office that she had vision insurance, until a month later, AFTER the transaction had already been processed. I have Mrs.Swanns registration form, which has zero information documented on the insurance she called and stated that we should have billed insurance for her, I supposed we should have read her mind and known who her insurance carrier was, even though she didnt know herself. It also states on the registration form you must present insurance you wish to use ON the date of service, not a month later. Even though Mrs. ***** is blaming us because she did not know or document her routine insurance for us to bill on the date of service is ridiculous, I still offered to bill her insurance for her, so she could be reimbursed. She did not like that, so she began telling and screaming in my ear and that it when I told her, This conversation is over, and hung up the phone. ********* is encouraged to pick up her frame and lenses she ordered and satisfy her balance at her earliest convenience.
