    I am seeking a refund ($200) for services not rendered for a class I paid up for and have not been able to come to a resolution with the instructor/owner.On October 24, 2019, I paid and registered for a Reiki 1 Certification Class that was to be held the weekend of June 27 and June 28, 2020. Prior to the class, I reached out to the instructor, *******************************, to reschedule my class registration due to COVID0-19 and my comfort level. She accepted the decision to reschedule for a later date and time. Classes are not offered regularly throughout the year, I reached out later that summer but did not hear back from the instructor over the last couple of years. I tried again and contacted ******** recently on July 27, 2023 to reschedule and received an email response back. In this email, she acknowledged closing down the physical space where she gave the instruction, asked if she ever gave me the manual I paid for, and gave me her phone number to contact her directly. In our phone texts, she shared that the training would now be a shorter certification time of 4 hours compared to the 7 1/2 hours originally paid for, and done 1:1 at the customer's home since she no longer offered group certification sessions. I expressed that I moved out of state from where I originally lived and was uncomfortable with at-home 1:1 visits. I kindly explained and requested a refund, since services could not be fulfilled. She has not returned a message back, which is similar to what happened the first time. I have not heard back from her in over a week and a half, and would simply like to come to a resolution for the $200 I paid.
