    Driving home Xmas eve 12-24-22, about 4pm, in bad weather my car skidded off road near ************************* in ****** landing near pond. While waiting for my tow truck ****** police arrived & said he requested a police **** tow ********* should go with him to police station. Before leaving I took photos of my car. My car was totally functional with no visible damage. Lake County Towings own receipt #******, did not indicate any pre-existing visible damage. ****** police gave me contact info for LAKE COUNTY TOWING at ********************************* in ******, closed until 12-26-22. I went to Lake County Towing on 12-26-22 for my car and they required $1365.00 for towing & storage before access to my car. I expected dents or scrapes from towing, but not total destruction. It seemed the car had been torn in half. The inside was soaked & items from the glove compartment were all over & wet. The towing belts were still around it & Lake County Towing refused to remove them. I was forced to contact ********************** to tow my car to a mechanic. This driver said he had never seen such devastation to a vehicle from *************. The Lake County Towing staff at ********************************* in ****** were unbelievably rude, unprofessional & condescending stating they had no idea what happened & there was nothing they could or would do. I asked for the owner & was directed to Lake County Towing at *********************** in ********. The owner refused to hear any complaints telling me to call my insurance company. He refused any discussion or to even give his name, saying he did not care if we reported him or took him to court. ****** police said there was nothing they could do, & I had to deal with LAKE COUNTY TOWING. I did file a police report on 12-26-22. I would like to report this company as totally unprofessional, careless & irresponsible. Lake County Towing needs to replace the car they destroyed as well as return my $1365.00.
