Mr. ********* is a scam artist, he has perfected the art. Here is how he operates, he will do one small job for you well, just to reel you in, once you trust him, you get him a bigger job, he will ask for half of the amount in deposit to start the job, will show up for an hour or so and you will never see nor here his voice again. he will keep you at bay with a couple of texts and then expect you to let go while he walks away with your money. I should have checked with Gennext record before I zelled him the money.

Acquired GenNext Contractor services on July 4th 2023 to remove damaged doors, drywall, baseboards and flooring due to flood and rebuild. I was given and signed a contract for the scope of work for $9100. Initially my husband and I were told by the general contractor ***************************** that the job would take **** business days. I sent the initial deposit of $3500 on July 4th to begin work. We first began having issues on July 6th when no one showed to work on our basement I sent a text to *********. ********* and his team resumed Saturday July 8th. On Wednesday July 12th, no one showed to work on the basement so I sent another text to *********. His team resumed working Friday and ********* asked for the second payment of $3300. Due to banking limits I sent $2000 July 14th and $1300 on July 15th for phase two of the job. On July 19th ********* called me and asked can he have a $1000 advance of the final payment because his bank account was hacked and he needed to get supplies and the dumpster which I did send. On July 21st ********* sent a video saying that everything was basically done. I was out of town on vacation and my husband was working but stopping home periodically. My husband said they just had a few small things to do the next day but they were basically finished. I sent final payment of $2000 on July 22nd. When I returned home on July 24th and saw that the little things were still not complete I immediately called ********* who at this point began to lie saying that someone would come to finish the painting, installing door handles on the doors and finishing baseboards. On July 28th ********* and his team came back and was supposed to finish the work but they did not. I contacted ********* on 7/30, 7/31, 8/01, 8/02, 8/03, 8/04, 8/5, 8/7 and 8/8 I have made multiple calls to ******** to which he never answers. The only thing he keeps texting is that someone will come tomorrow and no one shows and the final work that needs to be done is not complete
