      Velasquez Performance Exhaust at ************************************************************************************************* (*****) stole the Catalytic Converter from my 2005 ***** Accord, this when I took it to their shop on 5/20 for repairs.

      I towed my vehicle on a flat bed through AAA 04/28/2025 and arranged for it to be towed to Velasquez Mufflers & Brakes for a diagnostic because it wasn't starting and it wasn't driving. I spoke with female and she quoted me 40$ diagnostic that might be refundable or not charged depending on what is wrong. The grand total I was quoted with diagnostic was 580$. I arranged to pick up my vehicle last week but as I was waiting on a mailed check I was informed by a female that my car had been at shop for 3 weeks now I reminded her I got car towed late on the 28 and that the shop took down the wrong number despite me providing correct contact information and following up. Upon arriving yesterday I dropped off 100$ deposit on my car and made shop aware in person Ill be there to retrieve today. I arrived to being told my car keys are missing with no valid explanation and substantial damage to the trunk of my truck it was split in half. I took pictures and called authorities. After that i asked about the damages and when was the shop prepared to fix my truck. I offered images of my truck before arriving to shop the older female declined to see, but I did show to offficers who arrived on scene. After they leave I was reassured my diagnostic was normal alternator was fixed battery was replaced I was good to leave. I paid the remainder 450$ and got in my truck. parked my other vehicle and attempted to drive truck that cut off twice and broke down in lot. After talking to manager who at this point began to lie and state she gave me paperwork on error codes and explained I needed further work. She then typed up some error messages and attempted to give to me right before police walked in after I called to report theft of services I paid for a full diagnostic and for the car to be fixed not to have to beg shop to pull car back in spot and be expected to tow to another shop to fix work I paid shop to do.

      Went to Velasquez Mufflers and Brakes in ****** IL on 2/23/2024. Fuel pump failed 3 times in 3 months from this place. Improper documentation, refuse to give proper receipt. Refuse to refund $800. Their excuse is that they don't do electrical. This excuse came after 3 installed fuel pumps and collecting my $800 and 3 times stranded. Took to another shop and confirmed Velasquez never installed a new fuel pump on my White 2014 Dodge Charger. They have swapped managers. I caught them at a bad but they are not a charity. I need full refund.

      Took my car in for repair of my manifold in February 2024 didn't receive my car back until March 5 2024.once I start driving for a month started having more problems just found out this month of May that they stole my catalyic converter off my car which now cause engine damage which now I need another engine for my car because they straight pipe me.??Beware

      I took my 2009 ***** hhr to Velasquez on 11/20/23 *************** ** because my brakes were going to the floor.. the guy that was running everything he told me there was nothing wrong with my brakes I said it is. Can you check the mastercylinder or see if there is a leak he told me nothing was wrong with the brakes but I had a gas leak and he could put a sleeve on my muffler but he can't fix what's not broke so he fixed the gas leak put the sleeve on and changed my brake pads ****** I left called back and told hom the brakes were still going to the floor. He told me to bring it back 11/21/23 we will adjust the back brakes another ***** no he is doing a process of elimination now they specialize in breaks. I leave car still doing the same thing... now this lady an her Son came in with a envelope full of receipts saying she had been coming there for 2 years and still has the same problem she said they had been s******* her for 2 Years I should have left then.. I took my car to someone else He changed the master cylinder and the brakes are working fine. I would like to have my money back they are taking advantage of women....

      10/22/2022 I when to get my head light fix on 11.09.2022 it was not working the gentleman at ********** the part looked use. I was told that they use only brand new parts it was not new.
