    On July 10th a person knocked on my door ( live in a condo bldg) and he barged in and said the building called him to investigate a leak in the garage. He didn't provide his name until my son-in-law had to ask who he was and why he was here. He proceeded to the closet where the furnace/aircondition unit is and found water on the floor. He proceeded to cut the *** pipe without permission or investigating the true problem. He charged me ****** and didn't give me an invoice. My son-in-law had to chase him down in the parking lot and asked him to provide one. The next day I noticed water on the floor again in the closet and called my heating and airconditioning person since I saw the water was actually leaking from the coils. He said the drain was never clogged. I feel Bill Dixon took advantage and charged for something he knew wasn't the issue. You could clearly see where the water was dripping from.

    Hello I am Bill Dixon from Bill Dixon Plumbing co

    I received a service call from ******* property management,************************* is the person in charge of that property.

    Compaint was water flooding into the garage from above.
    I knocked on the door and sai that I am Bill Dixon from Bill Dixon plumbing and that ****** from ******* sent me out to look for a leak into the garage that appears to be coming from this unit.

    The Mr let me into the unit and told me to be quiet as is wife was in the bedroom on a computer call/ meeting.

    I went into the hall bathroom and found no leak.

    I then opened the door to the bedroom area where the furnace and a/c is.

    I opened the door and found water all over the floor.their a/c drain was backing up.
    I exited the bedroom and told the mr that the water was coming from their unit.

    He asked if it was building issue or their responsibility.

    I charge $175 per hour  At this point I was complete with my work order.

    I could send the $175 invoice to the property manager and they would invoice the unit owner.

    I asked the Mr if he wanted me to fix it.

    He said yes.

    I charged him$5.

    Thats correct $5!
    The wife completed her computer meeting and asked me what was going on.

    I told her the facts.

    She wrote me a check and I went down to my truck to schedule my next call when the mr showed up at my truck and started screaming at me How can I charge an old lady so much for five minutes of work?

    I informed him that $175 per hour is the rate that I charge and I had already been investigating the situation for 30 min before I knocked on his door.

    He continued calling me a piece of s*** and other obscenities.

    Apparently it was not his unit but his mother in laws.

    I had no idea but the invoice would still have been the same.

    Then the wife called the property manager who I have worked for 30 years already to bad mouth me.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********.  His statements are not entirely correct.  He did not introduce himself as who he was and he charged me $180.00 not $5.00  without an invoice.  My daughter has called the property manager and ****** has refunded me the money.
