My experience with Little *****'s started out great, but ended with me feeling scammed.I called to have my ejector pump looked at since it was running frequently and even got stuck in the on position until it was power cycled. I let them know I was referred to them by my mom who used them for a pretty big job and was happy with them. The office manager told me that I was out of their service area, but because I was referred they would make an exception for me.The plumber that came was friendly, but the service left me feeling scammed. I told him the behavior of the pump, and he told me the only option was to have it completely replaced. He didn't even open the pit cover to see what was going on. He quoted me something around $1200 and I needed to sign off on that for him to touch anything. I told him I'd have to think about it and get a second opinion. He told me he'd have to charge me a $165 "diagnostic fee" in that case, since I wasn't in their service area. I paid the fee without thinking too much, and it wasn't presented as optional. It didn't occur to me at the time to argue that the office manager told me they would come out as a courtesy, and no one warned me that I'd either have to agree to whatever service they quoted me or cough up $165.Now I'm in a worse position than when I started, despite having shelled out a $165 "diagnosis fee" I have to get another plumber to tell me if the thing is even really broken, and if so if it can be repaired. I opened the cover myself and ran it through a few cycles and as far as I can tell it's working as designed, but the cycle seems short. I'm sure if the plumber Little *****'s had sent out had actually looked at the thing he "diagnosed" I would know what my problem is.Due to the deceptive nature of my experience, I wouldn't recommend this place.
