    8/28/2022 replace #5 ignition coil paid ****** which included a new intake manifold.We live in ****, ** and we on our way to ******* via ******** to visit family. The engine light error code stated that the #5 coil was bad. We took it to Meineke in Highland. They supposedly fixed it, so we went on our way. We started driving to ******* and the same problem was occurring. Being that they Meineke was closed we opted to continue on. The mechanic looked at the #5 coil and stated it had not been replaced and it was not under the manifold. He replaced the correct coil (not under the manifold) for $100. He stated it took him about ten minutes. I called Meineke on 9/8 after we got back home and they offered to fix the correct one, we live over ***** away to which he said he look into it and call back by the end of the day. No one called, so I called again on 9/18. He said it would be relayed and someone else who would call back. No one called. I called corporate on 9/23 who said I have to deal with the independent merchant. I called Meineke Highland again on 8/25 and the ****** tried to deny making any mistake trying to tell me different scenarios that might have happened of them calling us which never took place, and basically denied everything. Bottom line: they replaced the wrong part and they promised to call and never would. I gave them four opportunities to reconcile, and they never did.
