I had multiple oil changes at two Jiffy Lube locations (************************) in 2024. Due to incorrect oil filters being installed, my vehicle suffered major engine damage, resulting in $4,626.04 in repairs.I first noticed low oil pressure 2-3 months after the first oil change in July 2024. Despite regular maintenance, the issue worsened. In January 2025, my mechanic discovered that Jiffy Lube had used incorrect filters across multiple visits. Paper elements from a previous filter were also found in the oil system, restricting oil flow and causing severe internal engine damage.I immediately contacted Jiffy Lube and provided detailed documentation, including invoices, photos, and a mechanics statement confirming the incorrect filters. However, both locations denied my claims, citing a 90-day warranty and stating that repairs were made before they could inspect the damagedespite the fact that the root cause was unknown until January 2025.Jiffy Lube's negligence led to significant financial loss and vehicle downtime. I am seeking reimbursement for the full cost of repairs and a refund for the three faulty oil changes.I have attempted to resolve this directly, but Jiffy Lube has refused to take responsibility. I am filing this complaint to hold them accountable and seek a fair resolution.

On April 11, 2024 I went to the Jiffy Lube location on *************************************************************************************************************** because there was a specific problem with my car. They checked and determined that I needed new Spark plugs, oil filter and cabin filter (invoice attached), and I was told that there was a warranty for the Spark Plugs (total $325.38). The same problem continued for days and on April15,2024 I took it to ******** and they told me it was a Spark misfire. I went back to Jiffy Lube in the location mentioned above and they told me the warranty, that needed to do a fuel injector instead to clean the exhaust. I did as recommended, paid $142.99, but the problem continued. On April 22, 2024 I went back to the same Jiffy Lube because they had told me I needed to replace the ignition coils ($468.01), which they did and told me after that the car should be working fine. The car continued to have the same problem. I took it to get a diagnostic test at Autozone again on April 23, 2024, which would tell me about the Spark misfire. I took it to Jiffy Lube again on April 24, 2024 and I told them that the car was still having the same problem. The manager at Jiffy Lube told me without taking a look at my car that I needed a new fuel injector, but I would have to pay for it. After telling him I could not afford to pay anymore he talked to his regional manager and that he would provide that service free of charge, but I would have to return the following week. I returned on May 2, 2024, and after waiting for an entire day, and losing a day of work they said the fuel injector was changed. The next day May 3, 2024 I drove the car for a few blocks and it completely stopped, the car would not move. I had to tow it to my house, and to ******* Chevrolet so they could find out what the problem was. There they found that the Spark misfire was a minor problem that should have been taken care of when I first took it to Jiffy Lube, but that the main problem was the transmission.
