Center Stage Dance Academy is a dance academy offering dance classes for children and adults. This studio offers lessons in several genres of dance, but encourages all students to take ballet, as ballet is considered the foundation of all other genres. Genres taught include ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop and musical theater. Competitive, recreational and professional levels are available. Lessons are available year-round and the annual dance recital is held in June. The competitive season goes from September through July. There are currently four studios available with modern wood sprung floors, meant to reduce the chance of injury and enhance performance of the dancer. Each studio has mirrored walls, ballet barres, and a sound system.
