    ***************************** (mother) was in the care of Alden Estates on January 15, 2023 when I reported to the nursing station that her left hearing aid was missing. I was told an incident report was filed by the Head nurse of that station on January 17, 2023. A meeting of the caregivers and myself was held on January 26, 2023. Attendees were *** ************** *** (Nursing), and ***** (Therapy). I asked about the misssing hearing aid and when I should **************** and work to replace it. I asked about the plan for reimbursement for the new hearing aid. I was told that I would need to cover that with *****************************. Between January 26th to March 30, 2023 I had made an attempt over 20 times by phone to contact *****************************. Each time I was told she was either on the floor or in a meeting. Each time I left my phone number and a message regarding reimbursement for my mother's lost hearing aid. Upon my many visits between 1/5/23 to 3/31/23 I had no less than (5) conversations with *** regarding the status of the hearing aid. Each time she stated that was the repsonsibility of ***************************** and she would tell ******** I had asked for an update. ***************************** was in the care of Alden Estates of Huntley until March 31, 2023. I waited the full month of April for an invoice payable by me of $3,000.00 for private care for ******. I received that invoice on May 2, 2023. The invoice was paid by check and sent by mail on 5/16/23. I sent ******** (4) emails from 5/2/23 through 5/17/23. I got no reply at all by either phone or email. I phoned Alden Estates today and asked to speak with either *****************************, *************************, or *****************************. All were not available. I left my name, phone number, and reason for the call with ***** to give to all (3). I asked for a return call today. It is now 6PM and again nobody has returned my calls or emails.
