I was contacted by Twisted Sisters Events on November 23, 2023 about a possible vendor spot for their event on December 9th and 10th (2023). The fee for the 9th and 10th event was $180. On November 24th, I asked if this was a legitimate event because I had not seen a flyer for it yet. They confirmed that it was not a scam and proceeded to send me a flyer for the event. I submitted the application, and it was confirmed. I first tried to pay them through PayPal to ******************** (*******************). I tried several times to send the payment there and it was not working. I confirmed the email and the individual's name with them, they said it was correct... but it was not working. The payment kept declining, as the email was not working. They asked me to send it though *****, but I did not have that app, so I did not. I then tried Cash App and they gave me the tag $FugcChyff. I tried this several times as well, even breaking it up into smaller amounts to send them, but that tag was also not working. I even had my wife try to send it from her phone and it was not working there either. So, they suggested that I do Zelle instead. So, I did. I asked them who to send the payment to for *****. They gave me the address *********************** (name *********************), showing up as *****************************. I took a screen shot of my phone and I asked them twice if the email address and name was correct, they stated "yes" both times. I send the $180 payment in and it went through successfully. I checked my online bank account and called the bank... everything on my end went through to the email address that they confirmed. I sent the screen shot of the payment confirmation. Now they are claiming that they do not have the payment and I never sent it. I have confirmed the payment from my bank and that it went through to ***************************** and is in her/his account. They are not willing to refund me the full $180 for the event. ALL emails are saved to my phone.

We received a letter dated 11/29/2023 on 12/7/2023 from BBB.  This letter was addressed to Twisted Sisters Events and mailed to *************************************************************************************  This is not our business address rather my personal home address.  I am ***************************** and my business partner is ******************************  ******* is the *** of Twisted Sisters Events.   We have read the complaint in its entirety and also reached out to ************************************************** to address the situation.  Unfortunately, ************************************************** was scammed via a an imposture of Twisted Sisters Events.  Our business is run with integrity and we have a specific secure system in which we invoice.  We do not even do financial transactions thru Venmo or cashapp.

We are not familiar with any of the emails that were provided in the complaint.
    ****************,com (*******************)
    $FugcChyff
    *********************** ********************* showing as *****************************

Please be sure to file a complaint with ******** regarding these fake email/accounts as provided in the letter and above.

    Our zelle account is: ************
    Our email address is: ***********************
    ***************************** ************
    ***************************** ************
    Our Business address is: *****************************************************************

Upon receipt of this letter we checked our Event page and we do not show ************************************************** as a member of our page.  In addition, we do not solicit crafter/vendors via email, messenger.  We use social media to post our events and request a private message and that all interested become a part of our event page.    We have been informed by several members of our group scammers have reached out to them via email, messenger on our behalf.  As we are informed of folks trying to scam crafter/vendors we post the fictitious addresses in our event to alert the group.  We also advise that ***************************** and ************************************** are the only event planners for Twisted Sisters Events with both of our phone numbers.    We do not even have an event scheduled for December 9th.  We do have an event scheduled for December 10th but this event is in ********** ********* and the fee is $35.00.  The amount that ************************************************** was charged is not even consistent with any of our pricing.   We are more than happy to discuss further.  We are very sorry this happened to you and perhaps you can contact your bank regarding the funds to determine if there is any recourse you could take up with them.

Upon receipt of this letter, please confirm this will not effect Twisted Sisters Events as we have no wrong doing in this situation.  We are happy to provide any proof that *** be necessary to the BBB to confirm our position.   Again, our sincere apologies that this happened to you.

    Sincerely,
    **************************************
