    Veteran purposely seeking Veteran-owned business, paid contractor Deposit and Progress Payment, for kitchen remodel. Contractor then stated, in writing, he would not be able to start the project, after an alleged fire, at his home. Stated our money burned in the fire, as well. Is refusing to refund our money, unless we sign an NDA, agreeing not to speak about him, or his business online.

    Our operations partner did experience a devastating fire that destroyed the home, office, and tool storage. We have been in constant contact with ****************** and have never refused a refund. Since the complaint was filed we have personally delivered a full refund in the form of two cashiers checks resolving this issue. ***************** has stated he would remove the complaint, and wished us a prosperous future.
    ( I tried to submit pictures however the website is not accepting them even though I have verified their size and tried multiple file types)

    Better Business Bureau:

    After I filed this with the BBB, I also involved the local police to resolve this issue.  This was the only thing that Veterans Remodeling took seriously to resolve giving me back my deposit.

    Since filing with the BBB and police, this matter has been resolved.

    In reference to complaint ID ********, this resolution has been resolved.
