    On 09/05/2024, I called in to ****************** Supply (a vendor for Hollymatic parts and equipment) to order new mold plates and assembly so we could make smaller sausage patties. I was assured by them that these would be the only parts I needed to produce said patties and that it would work with our Hollymatic Super 54 ***** making machine. We paid $1325.00 to ****************** Supply on 09/25/2024 for these parts. Upon receipt of said part, we installed them per the manufacturer's instructions to include lubricating them with food grade lubricant. Upon trying to make the patties, we immediately knew there was something wrong. The machine locked up, bent a control arm on the machine, and gouged the new plates, putting metal shavings in our meat. I immediately contacted ******* Restaurant Supply and told them what had happened. They then reached out to Hollymatic and CC'd myself. In summation, we've gone back and forth with Hollymatic and many accusations that we were dropping the parts all over or when washing them and damaging them, our machine damaged the parts, etc. I've explained to them that I'm not a three year old child that was washing the plates. We handled them with care and they screwed up. I've sent them videos of the plates locking the machine up. I've also offered to show them our old ***** parts (to make the larger patties) work just fine. In fact, we made about 1000 hamburger patties on 01/16/2025 with no issues. I'm not looking for our machine to be replaced or anything like that. I just want the $1325 back for the faulty parts.
