Hello, I'm ******.I am reporting Club Pilates of LaGrange because they have scammed me out of money. I believe the membership polices work against the consumer while ensuring payments are received without the provision of services. 10/25/2024 I signed a membership for my teen and I totaling aprox $218 a month ($109 each). The membership gives us each 4 Pilates classes a month. We enjoyed our fist two classes, then had to cancel our next two due to our schedules. This is the problem, classes are signed up for using the app, all classes for beginners 1.0 are always full with a 4-6 person waitlist. The first month I was at a loss of approx $100, 2 classes each, due to the lack of availability. This is now the second month and it is the same occurrence all class periods are full with a 4-6 person waitlist. This tells me Club Pilates of LaGrange IL, has signed up more memberships than they can provided classes for. The class credits expire each month, so if you are unable to gain entrance into a class, you're out the money paid. I suggest the excess in memberships and expiring of monthly credit ensures that some members will be taking a financial loss. How is this not a gym scam?? I have expressed my concerns to the staff at Club Pilates and they will not acknowledge the problem exist, yet there is no classes we can attend. The staff member then hung up on me after telling me I cannot cancel my membership. They have a 30day cancelation policy, it being 20days prior, they will not allow me to cancel my membership and inform they will be charging my card. I have been advised to report this situation to the BBB. Everyone I tell this situation too has agreed that I am being scammed by a gym. At this time I have paid the gym $436.00, and per them I will be charged another $218 on 11/25/2024. I need help getting out of this membership without additional cost, and want others to know the risks with this gym.Thank you,********** *****

I am rejecting this response because: I appreciate the apology, however the actions of resolution you failed to include in this letter have not been met. I spoke with ****** on the phone and was told I would not be charged again and the missed classes would be returned. I was charged. I request these charges to be returned and the memberships canceled. I have not received any classes free, the money I paid out weighs the classes attended. Please, return my last charges, canceled my membership, and we will not attend any classes past December 2024. Thank You.

    Sincerely,
