    IV Construction agreed to do work on my 83 year old, retired police officer grandfather's home after a house fire. Work was started but not completed. They coaxed my grandfather into writing a check for the additional amount due upon completion although the work was not completed. The total amount paid was $62,000 dollars. The photos show the remaining work to be completed. Although the contact was signed in October of 2024, they have yet to complete the work, have since changed cell numbers and refuse to respond to my grandfather's calls.

    I paid this company $10,000 as a down payment to start renovation on my own that was caused by a washing machine hose blood in the downstairs *********** showed up and did rip out the hardwood floor in a room meanwhile even holes in the wall, the tile had to be replaced fortime so I hired a union ********* to fix it. They did not lay the wood floor. I had to hire a union ********* to lay the wood floor. They did not finish the work they started. They use my dumpster to throw trash away in or left trash all over for me to clean up. Theycut tile in my house leaving load of tile remnant in the screen on the wall toilet in bathroom area they told me they would finish the and would have a cleaner come out and clean everything up. They did not do that. They also did not find plumber, electrician or drywall staff to complete the job and asked me if I would like to have my house shiplap because-they did not know how mud and tape drywall. However, left a huge hole in my laundry room wall. They also tried to lay down some flooring in the bedroom. There are screws coming through the ***. I picked up all the merchandise for the home and had to find a plumber electrician and now I am looking for drywall And Im out of money from insurance and also cannot get the recoverable value of your insurance because I dont have an invoice from this company, have called them numerous time to text them. They do not call or text back anymore. I asked for an itemized statement because theres no way they did $10,000worth of work at my Home And I do not get a response. Do not use this company. I also do not work for this company nor have I do worked for this company as *** will tell you all the complaints on this page are former employees. We were left without a bathroom and did not have a oven until Christmas Eve when I found a plumber to install the duct. I want a refund.

    On May 07, 2024 I entered into a contract with IV Construction to replace the flooring in the kitchen and bathroom reattach, kitchen cabinets, counter, sink,toilet,and vanity in the bathroom and replace hot water heater. $4100 was given. Contract was signed and receipt received. The floor was put in but not finished. About two hours after contract was signed and deposit given contractor called to Say, the deposit was short $1000. We both agreed to check him with his bank me with my money holder. On 5/8, we both maintain our number is correct. All communication stalled. 5/11 I reached out offering to meet in the middle. No response. 5/13 reached out still no response. 5/15 my son reached out. 5/16 said plumber would be out the following week. My son and I both reached out again on 5/17 informing I had to leave hotel by Wednesday 5/22 still no response. On 5/22 a series of emails started requesting a refund. For a period of 2 weeks I was left in my home with the only running water in the bathtub. 5/30 IV Construction agreed to send a refund. We have sent an email every month since continuing to request a refund to no avail. The last. 2 emails, October 4th and October 24th have gone unanswered. October 24th email informed IV Construction that a Better Business Bureau complaint would be filed November 1st if payment was not received by registered mail.     I had a fire in my home and called them to repair damages. They haven't been there in at least 3 months, they don't answer their phones, they haven't completed the work, the work they did is shotyy, floors uneven, loose planks, wrong sized tub, they put in a surround when it should've been a roll in handicap shower. Furnace pipes weren't hooked up correctly, not sure if they even put in L45 installation in the ceiling, didn't put closet in back porch, no light switch to outside light on the back porch, they didn't replace the outside plug in on the wheelchair ramp, knocked holes in the the ramp on the deck, they put in a 42 inch counter in the bathroom when it was supposed to be a 60inch, didn't clean off back deck, the cupboards came in but weren't put up, plaster on the floor. They basically got paid their money from my insurance claim and left without completing their work.
