I have had this company out to my home two times in less than a year. Both times were emergencies and both times they were absolute life savers. From the gentlemen that were on site to the staff in the office. I highly recommend River City Septic & Excavating! Thank you for going the extra mile to make sure me and my family were taken care of.

We had a septic repair that took less than 5 hours and used less than 20 feet of pipe and a small concrete cap. River City Septic charged us $4600. Checking with others, this repair should have cost around $2000. The company claimed they replaced a vent pipe but just added a one foot extension. We were billed for pumping water that took all weekend that we did. ourselves We even had **** ****** there and located the exact location of the repair and showed them where to dig. We tried, along with the realtor, to come to a resolution but they gave us the runaround. When we asked for an itemized bill, they said it wasn't happening, as this would expose the scam. If you want a company that charges double what it should, bills for services not even done, can't provide an itemized bill, and lies about what they did, this is your company. Throw in some arrogant employees and crappy customer service and this is your place. Beware and stay away. I would never recommend this company.

Customer accepted and signed our contract that listed the price range. We charged at the low end of the estimated contract price. We rearranged our schedule to fit their time line for closing on their property. They received an invoice that listed what we did,
Furthermore, the customer who is complaining was only on the job for ½ of the time and didn’t see all that was done.
And further more, they still have not paid the invoice as per their signed contract.
We had no complaints before, during or after the job was completed, only got complaints after they received the invoice when they thought they could price our job, parts, labor, etc.
They had full opportunity to call and get as many bids as they wanted and schedule with who ever they wanted to. They were not forced to accept our contract. We did what was needed that was stated on the contract.
Just as a note, I find it odd that the person signing the contract, thinks that they can change the contract that they signed after all the work is done and the job is completed.

We accepted the contract because you said if you didnt dig all the way back to the septic field it would be less expensive. And we did all the pumping yet it appears on your final invoice. It was also based on utility wires which there were none in the immediate area. Your employee said they replaced a stand pipe which cost $380 when a one foot extension pipe was put over an existing pipe. Most honest businesses provide a refund for work not done. Your group started at approximately 9:15 to 9:30 a.m. The crushed pipe was found at 10:20 a.m. as I have pictures. We left at noon and the crush pipe was fixed and he said he had an hour to go. Now I wonder if they were even there five hours. If my math is correct that is 3/4 of the time. We are not pricing your expenses, that is why we needed an itemized invoice so we didn't have to guess. We called other businesses to see what they charge. The realtor had to call several times to even get the invoice and could not believe what we were charged either. I imagine when you order materials you want more than it saying pipe and an amount. You asked the realtor for my number to call and discuss the bill and never bothered calling. Great customer service. On June 3 there was a cut check for the balance so I am sure you have it. I wish I could show what was given as the final invoice. This is part of an estate and i have to go in front of a judge and explan everything that was spent. It will be hard in this case.. Maybe we can have an itemized bill supboenaed then. I stand by my review.

This company goes above and beyond for their customers! We have been using them to service our septic system for many years now and we are always pleased with the service.
