I am the treasurer for ****** ******** ****** *******. We have a soda vending machine outside our library. It was originally leased the through *** ************ but that lease was sold to HOI Vending earlier this year 2022. Since that turnover, we have not received our 10 % commission. The librarian has tried to talk to the company and the people that service our machine to no avail. After the October board meeting, I took over in trying to get this issure resolved. I have called the Bellevue number and talked to ****** plus **** in accounting. First I was told our account was set up as not any commission. As you will see in attached document, they should have received that information from ***. I talked to **** Nov. 7, 2022 at 10:14 am. She was doing commissions that day plus the 8th and assured me that we would get paid. I checked at the library and librarian today on the 16th - nothing. **** sent me a spreadsheet on the 7th. I questioned the amounts plus they were taking the full amount of sales tax from our portion which I thought was odd. Why should be pay for 7.75% sales tax out of our 10% commission? It shoud be proportionate to our respective shares. Please help us out. We are a small village and this is the only soda vending machine in the town. It is a community service plus helps give the library an amount of funding so we can fund some programs. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, **** ****
