    1. Lack of Transparency: I was not provided with an itemized receipt detailing the charges for the rental. Transparency in billing is a basic expectation, and their failure to provide this information raises serious concerns about the legitimacy of the charges.2. Faulty Vehicle: The car I was given was in poor condition, with underinflated tires that required constant refilling throughout my rental period. This was particularly stressful and unsafe, as I was driving in one of the worst blizzards in the area. Providing a vehicle in such condition is both negligent and unprofessional.3. Deposit Discrepancy: UPE Joy **** charged me a $600 deposit but only refunded $398 upon returning the vehicle. No explanation was provided for withholding the remaining $202, further adding to my frustration and financial burden.4. Inadequate Response to Complaint: When I raised these issues, the company apologized for the faulty vehicle and offered me one free day off the rental cost. This response was dismissive and insufficient given the severity of the problems I endured.I also believe the company took advantage of the situation by inflating the rental price, which only compounded my dissatisfaction with their service.I am requesting: A full refund of the $600 deposit, Reimbursement for the rental period given the unsafe and poorly maintained vehicle, and Assurance that UPE Joy **** will address these issues to prevent future customers from facing similar problems. Great Lakes is a Military town that brings thousands every year to proudly attend their loved one's graduation from boot camp. Perhaps they bet on the fact the most clients aren't from the area and therefor are practicing such unfair and shady business deals. Who knows how many other families have experienced the same situation. *********** can do better. This situation left me feeling helpless and vulnerable, especially with the blizzard the town experienced that day 11/21/2024.
