      Contract fix my front steps was signed by both parties (*****) and myself 07/02/2024. First price $3350 included fixing of the front steps to include cracks repaired, railings replaced & installed and power washing drive & concrete replaced in front of garage doors. Once the contractors began to break up the concrete they advised steps were hollow & price would now by $8800 to fix & required deposit cash $6610. $6610 cash provided to contractor on 07/03/2024. 4th of July not working. The morning of 07/05/2024 I texted ***** ************ contact and he advised that they would be there later in the day between 12-12:45. At 12:30 07/05/2024 ***** texted to advise "Sorry man we won't be coming today as its getting a bit too late we are starting first thing in the morning.," At app 9:30 am on 07/06/2024 workmen showed up at my home to do work. Began to finish breaking apart steps & framing steps with plywood to pour concrete. Close to the end of the day on 07/06/2024 **** with Countryside advised that they did not realize rebar was needed in the stairs and it would be a total extra cost of $4500. Since they made the mistake they were going to not charge me $4500 but only for the rebar which was $3300 and that they needed cash now. I provided them with $3300 in cash (they told me they needed the cash immediately to by the rebar as the concrete had been poured and they need to put the rebar in before it dries). The contractors left that day and told me they would be back to take down the plywood, smooth all the edges and complete the job. Rep of contractor came 07/08/24 who did not speak English and would not give me info. He took down plywood, damaged steps and left a mess. Concrete had spilled all over, uneven edges, etc. Old rails placed in and we were told they had to order new rails and we would get them in two week and they would put them in. Now they have refused to respond to all calls, texts or emails and have blocked me on all platforms.
