    My son went here for 9 months - huge safety issues, amongst many other things (listed below). Please protect your autistic children and vet these places heavily. You are the voice for your ********** are some of the safety issues (my son is non-verbal and mouths things, elopes):-I got an email from the speech therapist (not from Roots) that my son was eating broken plastic off the floor at Roots and swallowed it. The **** knew about this (per the email) but never told me and never created a report about the incident.- He came home 3 times with broken balloons in his hand after I contacted them and told them that due to his autism he eats things and this is a huge choking hazard (three times this happened!)-Came to pick him up (he would usually be at the front door waiting) - the front door of the school was propped open with a bottle of hand sanitizer (I have pictures). My son would be approaching that door any minute and would elope immediately. I contacted **** and she completely dismissed the concern (saying it was a temporary thing).- ***** called me to tell me that my son was chewing on pipe cleaners and was bleeding from the mouth and that I may need to pick him up - why are you allowing him to chew on pipe cleaners? She gave me this huge attitude and said that if it were her kid she would want to know.- They removed my son's tracker and left it on the bathroom floor of their facility so when I picked him up, he was not wearing it. He wears a tracker because he elopes. He did not have it for 24 hours.**** dismissed all of my emails about these concerns.The turnover for the ***** was constant and they promised all of these services for my son and did not provide despite billing my insurance up to $13,000 per month.
