    On October 9, 2024, I had Seasons come out to my house for a Fall Furnace tune-up. The Technician used scare tactics to get me to spend around $8000 on replacing my unit. I got three other opinions from different companies and was told that there was NOTHING wrong with my furnace and I was being scammed by Seasons. The technician really laid it on thick with ** leak, Brother heat exchanger and a broken vent motor. NONE of these things were seen by the other companies. I would like a refund, apology from ***** the owner and repayment for the ** detectors I purchased. I have been using Seasons for MANY years for both Spring and Fall tune-**** NEVER AGAIN, they cannot be trusted, they are just after money and scaring the customer.

    Hi, my name is **** *********, I am the president of Seasons Heating & Air-Conditioning, **** I was able to talk to ***** as well as to ******** ****** the technician who was out at your home on 10/09/24. At this time, the technician is suspended until my investigation is complete. According to ********, you had major flame rollout on the furnace and low level of carbon monoxide. Our detectors are very sensitive and pick up low levels of Carbon monoxide. The goal is to have zero carbon monoxide coming out of a furnace. Though the detectors you bought at the store are not going off. They usually go off closer to 40 ppm which means get out of the house right away!! Before I fire anybody, Id like to do my investigation so I am not in the wrong. I started this company back in 1999 and I have never taken advantage of a customer, we are not out just for money, if he made an honest mistake thats one thing but he would not have any reason to try to sell you a furnace because he does not get any commission. He only gets paid an hourly wage. I will be in touch in the next few days with more information,

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I had 3 other companies come out and none reported any rollout and a zero level of *** Yes, the unit is old, but all companies said it was working as it should. There is definitely some sort of incentive for the technician to sell new equipment otherwise the company would not have resorted to such scare tactics and even a follow up call lowering the price all the sudden.  I wouldnlike my yearly fee for tune *** returned and a refund for the 3 CO detectors I purchased to make sure my home stayed safe beyond the 1 CO detector that the technician said was not a good one.

    I do not have invoices from the other companies, as they came out to give a free quote on a new unit and all said a new unit was not needed. I payed you $119  for a year of tune **** which I want back and attached is the ********** receipt for the CO detectors.

    I definitely would like to put closer to this, but I need to know more information as you know Ive suspended a technician/employee because of allegations. Who are the three companies that you had out to your home.  I would like to at least confirm with them or I need to get a supervisor out there to double check your equipment

    For the last couple years, weve had seasons do all of our needs service work and maintenance and thought we were getting taken care of. On May 5, 2023 our air conditioning unit decided to stop cooling we call them andTony came out. He told us are Freon level was low and we paid $244 to add a pound of Freon in. At that time he never checked the inside unit only the outside. Then on June 23 we woke up and our unit was frozen over when I called the company. She immediately told me that I would have to replace the unit but would send someone out to take a look when **** got out here He agreed with her and said there must be a large leak somewhere and that it would be $5900 and that they would finally when we paid to have our unit replaced our unit is only 5 years old. I paid seasons another $100 thats day. My husband and I found that ridiculous and had a second opinion who looked at not only the outside of the unit but the inside of the unit and found that there were no leaks, but that our coils were extremely dirty on the inside, they also found that a filter was sucked into the blower that had not been found by seasons during any maintenance or service calls. Once the coils were cleaned, they found that we were a pound over and had to remove the pound of Freon that seasons said we needed. I have spoke to the owner and sent him the photos and the report from the other contractor and have not heard back.
