    I purchased a vehicle from Lansing Auto Sales in October 2022. I had not had the car for more than four weeks when the engine went out. I contacted Lansing Auto Sales and they said they would come get the vehicle and get it fixed. Four days after they said they would get it, they came and towed the car to their **********. After a day or two, I received a call from *** saying that they were unable to fix it and they would have it towed to an actual *** ********** because they believed it to be under warranty for the engine to be replaced. After speaking with someone at the *** *********** they told me the car WAS NOT under warranty and the cost would be over $11,000. *** and Lansing Auto Sales refused to pay the amount to cover the cost of the repairs and offered to release me from the finance company contract. Somehow within the month I made the purchase, the finance company changed businesses and *** told me he would contact the new finance company, explain the situation, and get me released from the contract but that never happened. I continued to receive calls from the finance company saying my payment was delinquent. When I explained the situation, they said they never received a call from *** or Lansing Auto Sales regarding my contract. I contacted *** again to ask for paperwork regarding the sale and his assistant said they didn't have any of the corresponding paperwork for my sale on site! A few months later, I found out that my car was apart of the Class Action Lawsuit against *** but because my car was not damaged in fire or accident, I could not file a claim except to be reimbursed for the towing when my car first broke down. Not only that, the finance company is still holding me accountable and when I last spoke with the *** ********** to see if Lansing reclaimed ownership of the car, they said the car was no longer on their property so I don't know if the car has been repossessed or stolen!

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Lansing Auto Sales assumed responsibility for the breakdown of the vehicle prior to any action taken by the finance company up to and including contacting the finance company to have me released from contract and neglected to do so. I contacted the finance company as well as Lansing auto sales in regards to this matter after it was discovered That it had not been done and they assured me they were going to take care of it. I am owed SOMETHING in regards to this situation, regardless as to when it took place because I have been waiting all this time for an update and the manager ***, continues to evade me regarding this situation!

    I purchased a 2013 Kia **** in May 2023 battery failing headlights damaged bottom Uber carriage rusted company doesnt feel that they responsible for the car and it is a complicated posted on this site In regard to the same vehicle

    The customer, ***************************** purchased her vehicle on May 22, 2023 with a limited warranty on the engine, power train and transmission for 15 days or 500 miles and a 60 month/ 100,000 mile **************** warranty. The customer had some issues during the first couple of weeks of purchasing her vehicle. The issues include a battery and light bulbs. Those issues were repaired without cost to the customer. The customer has now had her vehicle for 3 months and is in need of tire rods which are not covered under her warranty. Lansing Auto Sales offered to repair her vehicle as long as the customer is able to cover the cost of the parts. ********************************* refused to accept the agreement and unfortunately there is nothing more Lansing Auto Sales can offer the customer.

    I am rejecting this response because: Lansing auto did not replace the battery or headlight. When I called and told this company of my issue they gave me the run around for a week the manager ** said I can take the vehicle to pep boys because the work would be cover under the warranty or pay for the parts so their uncertified mechanic can fix the problem. However, myself and pep boys have told the company the issue was not covered and I have not yet heard from Lansing Auto Sales in regard to the vehicle in which as you can see it all four tire rods and central control system that needs to be fixed. Which pep boys has stated this vehicle has had these problem before purchase as while as a previous complaint about this vehicle on there BBB WEBPAGE

    Unfortunately Lansing Auto Sales is not liable to fix her tire rods without compensation. Lansing Auto Sales has offered to fix her tire rods as long as the customer pays for the parts.

Their manger Mo is never there always suppose to be at the auction and the receptionist never knows whats going on.

    I financed a car back in July 2022 from Lansing auto sale and a day later my oil light came on and I didnt have a oil change when I called the company my car was not serviced and oils was not checked the man who sold me the car told me to come to the car shop and he placed oil in my car on his own and placed the wrong liquid in my car knocking my whole master cylinder out and when I told him what was wrong he refused to help me fixed my car and was giving me the run around for months havent contacted me or nothing I havent drove the car since I gotten it and I continue to try and contact them I couldnt make it to work or nothing to pay my car note for the car and no one helped me they recently came and repoed the car and stop answering the phone because I was complaining about the car and my car note couldnt get paid no one helped me

    In regards to ***************************** and the 2015 ******* Sonata, the vehicle was sold on July 30, 2022. The vehicle was properly checked for fluids before the sale. The customer notified ******************** that her boyfriend attempted to change the oil and put the wrong oil in the vehicle causing problems with said vehicle. This event happened after 3 months from the date of sale. Lansing Auto Sales did not repossess the vehicle. If the vehicle is no longer in the customer's possession it is likely the finance company repossessed it. She may contact the finance company to confirm. Unfortunately at this time there is not much else Lansing Auto Sales has the ability to do to help.

    I am rejecting this response because: information is false when I receive the car it was not serviced no oil change or nothing I brought the car back to Lansing auto to let them know  and they was fully aware that the car wasnt serviced and needed oil he then placed (the man at the car lot Lansing auto) some type of liquid in my car with no label on it in my car a day later my master cylinder went completely out due to wrong fluid in my car that Lansing auto placed in my car i went and back up there to let him know and they gave me the run around never helped me I called for weeks I couldnt drive the car because of the repairs needed done car sat for months until they came and repossessed it

    On December 18,2021 I bought my Kia *** 2013 from Lansing Auto Sales. Within a few days of getting the car we had problems they poorly fixed on the car and have it back. The of April not car stopped working. It has to sit in the shop for 3 months. Within the three months he agreed to help me pay to get my car out the shop but then went back on his word. I payed to get the car out the shop a week later the car was stopping while I was driving it I have called them they dont answer their phone on top of that the person I bought my car from is NOT the same person Ive been talking to he told me that man is overseas
